After doing a little recon on it, that's probably a tad bit over secondary. I just saw a 9 year for $1200.
I went to Kroger today to get some Jim Beam to mix with my Pepsi and I saw a Calumut 16 for 150. Never saw it before so I bought it. No idea on it or didn’t even research. Hope it’s good.
I don’t know what that means. I used to pay attention to bourbons and this thread so I was genuinely looking for any feedback. I normally sip on Woodford and mix Jim beam and drink Belle’s two hearted. Last year a co workers husband got me a Weller 12 and an Elmer T Lee both were very good.
Was in Bocas Town in Bocas del Toro, Panama last week (humble brag) and stopped by a random mini Mart next to where I was staying to pick up some local hot sauce. Saw this sitting on the shelf and just laughed because this is in the middle of nowhere on an island. Price was $43 USD.
Is there a Very Old Barton that is allocated? My store said they got a couple of bottles but the bottles were in the back so I didn't see them. I thought Very Old Barton was a cheap whiskey so it kind of confused me.
Their bottled in bond is not available everywhere. Believe it has always been a Kentucky exclusive release. I could be wrong. Paging resident VOB fan boy Love Tractor
Turned the big 40 today so having a few drinks to celebrate. Drinking the JD 12 for the first time since I opened and damn that is a good pour.
Apparently there was a big drop of various BT bourbons at a Kroger nearby today, this was the line at like 8am someone posted on Facebook Spoiler
Apparently there was a shit load. People 200ish in line saying they got W12. Who knows if that's true, either way no chance in hell I'm standing in lines like that or any line at all really.
