Bet https://www.roguefitness.com/rehband-rx-5mm-knee-sleeve-carbon-black I was wondering why they didn’t have 5* reviews. Hilarious stuff
Couple weeks of sore balls after the vasectomy, but back at it this week. Reviewing the new Prime Shorty Bench, so got a sick biceps pump today.
For whatever reason, I like pretty much every strongman more than him but Mitch Hooper is fucking insane. I don't know what his weakness is, Thor absolutely was at his best and up by 1 point. Think it might be a few calls on overhead presses that shouldn't have gone his way but he's an all time strongman at this point
hensleya do you have discount/affiliate code to Rep? Was going to buy some basic things, but wanted to get that code first
They unfortunately don’t do discount codes, but I have a link if you just feel supportive. Appreciate you, brother. https://www.repfitness.com/#5a57794a6600b
Damn, Thor fell to 4th. That pec tear did him in, overhead just isn’t there. Never heard of her before today but Angelica Jardine killed it
nerd post but that’s probably the most complete performance and strongman ever in year fucking 2 of doing it. Why he’s kinda annoying, just too good Fastest strongman with most endurance Set WR on Dinnie stone walk Nearly set the WR on farmer’s Cycles overhead at an insane rate Fastest with yoke ever Has a DL max of 475kg and comfortably 950+ for any comp A heavy show with events that favor tall guys may be only thing to beat this guy. Was also a valedictorian, marathon runner, some sort of therapist, and a bunch of other things. People with good hair(not me) can look down on him
hensleya do you have any reviews on Reverse Hyper Machines? Looking around and wanted to narrow my search if you had any. Thanks!
I’d first ask yourself how much you plan to use it. It’s probably the #1 most regretted purchases among home gym owners. The Rogue Scout is good for most people and saves you space/money. Otherwise, I’d go with the Titan H-PND, or the Vulcan Kraaken if you have a bigger budget and want a combo unit with a GHD.
Thank you. I've implemented them into my workouts the past 8 months modifying my GHR with a band (2-3 days/wk) while kicking myself that i didn't do these in my earlier years and looking to possibly invest further. I'll take a look at the two you mentioned and appreciate the recommendations.
3 here. As always, it depends on your goals. A very general way you could do it: Day 1 - Primary Day A heavy set of 1-3, followed by 3x5 at 75-85% of your top set Day 2 - Secondary Day Close grip, Incline, or whatever variation 4x6 at ~70-75%/RPE 7
when do you do shoulder work? Is that a day itself or secondary to the benching? I guess I am wondering if you would still program an OHP?
To piggyback on this. I have the scout hyper and love it. It’s portable and folds up if you need it to. I use it three times a week then fold it back up, or use it as a table. Personally I use it enough to justify it so it works for me.
Yeah. Saw some clips of Sonny Webster cheering him on so guess he’s working with him too for at least split jerk purposes
Could be your secondary day. Could do OHP work then dumbbell bench. I do OHP as an accessory so I hit some tempo bench then do 3-4x8 on OHP. I throw in side and rear delt raises as well.
This is the one i've honed in on. Reviews are good, nice price point and the folding up and setting against the wall if needed is great..
Monday - primary bench/upper accessories Tuesday - primary deadlift/lower accessories Thursday - incline bench/push accessories Friday - squat/ lower accessories Saturday - bench/back accessories
have had a bad 1 this week, shit sucks but got some nasal spray to alleviate it My body always gets weird when seasons change, this week has been bad. Sneezing out blood a few times Need to get it together
Ftr, absolutely no reason to quote your post. Just searched sinus infection and capstone was the lucky winner
We had an urgent care once recommend just taking a spray of that nose mist from Flonase se similar allergy relief a while ago. I don’t think I’ve had anything of substance since
This stuff is a life saver when sick, especially with sinus stuff Edit: The amazon imbed isn't working but search this ARM & HAMMER Simply Saline Nasal Care Daily Mist 4.5oz – Instant Relief for Every Day Congestion – One 4.5oz Bottle
Bought amazon brand and working well so far, the drip is real and clearing a lot of shit up but wearing off as day goes on. Will give this a try
In other shit, can’t find G2 to save my life recently. G Zero is meh and like G2 more than G. Had a solid 40-50 ounce a day habit for years and now it’s just gone. Got the powder but not remotely the same Rough life
Currently dealing with a crippling bout of sciatica. Can't sit, can't lay down, literally just paced the house all night last night because laying down was too painful. Meds aren't helping. This is miserable. Supposed to head out on a cruise on Thursday and I don't know how I'm going to make it 3 hours in the car to get to the port.
I’d suggest physical therapy but since another poster might have died had he taken that advice I’d go get checked for an abscess that’s pushing against your spine
Nothing is worse than debilitating back pain. There is no position comfortable enough to sleep? Normally, I’d say force some movement to attempt to free up some range of motion, but this sounds like an extreme case. See if you can get checked out before Thursday somewhere. You don’t want to be out at sea with mind numbing pain, or things potentially worsening.
Need to just let it settle. There's a few tricks some people can do to ease it but it just takes time.
The frustrating thing is it was getting better until I just shifted wrong on Sunday morning. I laid down earlier and was able to find a somewhat comfortable position, so hopefully I'll get some sleep tonight. 48 hrs of no sleep has me feeling loopy
I had that weird perpetual cough that was going around and I developed double inguinal. My doc is like "you don't have to DL" And I started laughing. Yes is do. I'm like this never was an issue until I was randomly coughing every few seconds. It was the most obnoxious thing. I wasnt sniffly or "felt sick" I would just randomly cough. Sometimes felt like coughing up a lung. Sometimes just lightly. But it would just keep coming. For over a week. I started feeling a strain down there on the right side and it seems the left is doing it as well. I had a CT scan so hopefully next app I'll find out what we have to do. Ive squatted 365 4x2. No strain. DL 625. DL 605 in Aruba. No signs of strain. But if I db shoulder press it might pop out lolol. It's just bizarre. I think my body is just used to bracing and thats why it won't pop.
Yeah. I feel and look great. So I don't want to have surgery unless it's necessary. Maybe after the summer.
I had a hiatal hernia repair done last month. Liquid only diet and the only training i can do is walking. I'm at my wits end.
