So what I would do is delete everything and the type “a” and let it sit like that for a few minutes and it would auto save that. Or just delete it out the next time I posted. So often you’ll see one of my replies start with “A”, then the quote, then my reply.
I've seen someone quote me but you could tell it was an auto saved draft because it was an incomplete thought and came before another quote. Then it gets quickly edited. That's what I thought, bitch
My old watering hole in Seattle, called Some Random Bar, got its patio destroyed by some random drunk driver yesterday, and I'm posting about it in the random thoughts thread. What a threesome! https://www.kiro7.com/news/local/ra...ar/WBA7TA7FPNC65KCSASTQQALE7Y/?outputType=amp Got beers here with Corky Bucek and ohhaithur edit: and BayouMafia
Never broken a bone before yesterday. Fractured my radial head slipping off my retaining wall yesterday like an idiot. ER put it in a splint and referred me to an orthopedist. They gave me some pain medication when I left and a prescription that I haven’t been able to get filled yet. Last night sucked ass, I’ve been up all night with this fucking arm killing me.
I don't think any of the ones I had were particularly painful (because I'm tough nbd), except maybe the collarbone. Yours sounds different and like it prob does hurt a lot
With the ones I had the initial injury hurts for sure but then it kind of stops if you don't move it or fuck with it too much. Obviously I needed to have them set but they weren't all that painful after the acute phase
Lil man broke his elbow twice and never really complained. Only reason we knew was because of the swelling.
Idk if the nurse did a shitty job with the splint or what but it hurts a lot, just waiting for the pharmacy to open
I’m just fucking with you. It can be really painful, especially if you injured the soft tissue around it, too.
Clean fractures on long bones aren't that bad. I can imagine fractures towards the head where it meets another bone or whatever prob hurts like hell. Ts and Ps
Breaking bones hurts. I've done my tib/fib and a collarbone and pain meds were a necessity to sleep for the first few days.
Broke my humerus up-in the shoulder joint one time. Fucking hurt like hell just to breathe. Broke same arm radius and ulna clean halfway between wrist and elbow on another occasion, didn’t bother me much.
My list is rough but mostly due to boxing/football/having to be at the door for nightclubs/and a couple of random instances. But I was 3 deep from by like age 12 just from growing up and spending a lot of time outdoors doing dumb shit and one asshole closing a van door on my fingers.
I would be dead already if that were the case. But we were idiots growing up and climbing trees and being on the water constantly or riding bikes everywhere - you're going to get a break or two eventually.
Idk how I didn't break more bones as a kid. Only ever managed my wrist and collarbone. Highly recommend not breaking your collarbone if your on the fence about it.
Haven't broken a bone either, but I did have three pretty bad concussions and smashed foreheads twice from tripping when I was running as a kid, both before I was 8 I think. The last time I was in 5th grade trying to see how high I could kick on the playground blacktop. Next thing I knew I felt like I was waking up from a dream and one of the teachers running over very panicked about me. Somehow I didn't break my ring finger last summer when I was ziplining with my nieces before we moved. I rebounded off one of the stops and stupidly put my hand up on the line to try to slow down and the knuckle ran over my finger. It's swelled up really quickly and I lost my fingernail after a couple of weeks.
I’m not sure how I played as many sports and did as much dumb shit as I’ve done and never broken a bone. The worst real injury I’ve ever suffered was in gym class on a “gymnastics day.” Got my foot stuck in a mat and pulled my Achilles. My foot hurt so bad I couldn’t get my shoe back on. Walked around on the ball of my foot for about a month
