In my admittedly limited experience and knowledge of women’s BB I will say I think CC is a one trick pony. It’s a hella great trick but there are numerous players I’d take over her.
So you’d take numerous players over a girl who gets you 30 points 9 assists and 7 rebounds each time she steps foot on the floor? I’ll give you maybe Bueckers but who else you taking?
Paige Buckets vs Crybaby Clark cmon Geno give us the matchup we deserve. I just want to see what Kaitlyn gives us when matched up against a real defender.
Who’s that? I would say West Virginias defenders were some of the best she’s seen and they put more pressure on her than UConn will.
yes she is an amazing shooter I said as much but that doesn’t me I don’t think there are better players.
I think because of her shooting ability (which without a doubt is next level) she has a lot of opportunities at getting assists. Im not attempting to disparage her abilities I was simply reacting to that tweet. Watching tonight’s games I think JuJu Watkins was the best player I tonight. Again just my opinion if I’m building a team from who we saw tonight I’d probably pick CC 3rd or 4th.
im going to go ahead and defer to you and those who have more knowledge about her game. But, to be clear i basing my opinion on what I saw tonight and what little I’ve watched so obviously not an extremely accurate opinion. I mostly watch UCLA sports and don’t think I watched any non ucla women’s game this year. I might have but I don’t think I did.

Its just crazy that we have an undefeated team out there that no one is talking about but lets not forget NC State is 4-0 against top 5 teams this season but tonight favored them big time because if they win, Dawn will boatrace both Iowa and UConn out of the gym
The top 5 are: 1. South Carolina 2. Iowa 3. Southern Cal 4. Texas 5. Stanford They had no wins over them in the regular season. Granted wins over Texas and Stanford in the tourney. 2-0. They also had 4 losses of 10+
I knew Bueckers and Clark were top recruits but didn’t realize Reese was that high. I wonder how many times the top 5 have worked out this way.
all these athletes go through a lot, especially these last few years with these women's college basketball stars. But Reese dropping the villain routine and saying she has been really unhappy the past year seems quite predictable.
I'm not sure your thought process here. You sound like you're saying "if she was a mediocre shooter she wouldn't have so many assists". Plays don't happen in a vacuum, if an off ball defender knows the shooting guard is not good, they can play tighter defense on their assignment. Clark is the only one that does things no one else can. Her range and ball handling put a tremendous amount of pressure on every defense to expand out and/or double 30 feet from the basket. Iowa is a mid level Big ten team pushing for the sweet 16 without her.

I think you're still severely downplaying just how insane her shooting is, JuJu or Paige might be better than Clark at a couple of things but those are like 7-8s compared to Clark's 5-6s if we're going by scale rating on skills, whereas Clark's shooting is like a 15 out of 10 for women's basketball, like high percentile by even NBA standards 3 point range. How do you defend against a legit 30 foot range in WBB when the concept of "30 foot range" hasn't even existed in women's basketball until her.
