I don’t do it but I think it’s not that uncommon for someone to have camera set up for checking in on pets. Also seems to be showing front door
I get checking on pets but I'm more thinking of it from the bf's perspective. poor guy might want to get a little weird at some point.
Mine was moreso us being careful as shit because we were bringing girls home like every night for a while - we're more adult now.
You think I'm the one picking up chicks? Appreciate the bode of confidence. But no I still dress normal - just tighter I guess.
Most people who don’t have kids think dogs are better. In some ways they are and in more ways the people without kids just don’t have a clue
I really don't care but the "le heckin crotchspawn" discourse should have died when millennials turned 30.
As someone who doesn’t have kids or dogs, dogs are infinitely more annoying in public places. Whether it’s selfish assholes letting them roam off leash in clearly marked areas, not picking up their shit when they walk them, or acting like it’s perfectly normal and super cute for your terribly trained dog to be all up in everyone’s business they are far more of an issue and more poorly behaved than kids in terms of enjoying a nice day out. At least in my experience.
It would be awesome to go to a restaurant that outlawed kids. I don’t take my dogs to restaurants either.
Parents used to take us all to Macaroni Grill back in the day. Spitballs with the straw paper. Pouring a packet of sugar or salt into siblings drink. Playing games like hangman or tic tac toe.
If people have a reaction like this to dogs (or animals in general) then it’s probably a good thing for everyone that they don’t have kids.
Or, you know, someone could be allergic to dogs and it's completely reasonable to expect a pet owner not to let it run around freely getting in everyone else's business. Also pretty reasonable to expect a dog owner to pick up after their dog shits in the park. Definitely reasons the bystanders are at fault and shouldn't have kids.
Team don’t bring kids or dogs to places they can’t appropriately behave. It’s worsens everyone’s experience.
Perfectly understandable to be annoyed with the owners. I’m with you 100 percent. And also agree dogs don’t belong in most public places. I was talking about people having a bad reaction to the dogs. I’m an animal person and can’t help but think people that don’t like animals are miserable to be around and would create more little miserable people. I understand that’s not the case for everyone (especially those that are allergic). But it is the case for some.
The only kid-in-public-space phenomenon that really bothers me is when they take them to a brewery or whatnot and act like their kid doesn’t exist. Feels like a forced stranger group babysitting experience.
I'm rarely bothered by people bringing either dogs or children into public places, but I do get a sick joy out of when the couple that acts like their dog is their child and claims having a dog is just as much work actually has a child and realizes how wrong they were.
