Yeah, but we pretty much give the same recs to everyone that asks (Go to the pharmacy, dont do pedal tavern, drink on broadway, etc.). So I'm not too concerned about it.
I can always edit the OP to include the top recs for visitors as far as food, bars, nightlife... that will clear up some clutter.
Shit I can't even remember the regular posters in the travel thread that I posted in all the time. My bad buddy
Preds lost again last night....but shouldn't have. Completely egregious call cost them the game (probably). http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nhl-p...lenge--semyon-varlamov-edition-151021868.html
eh, bad call... but the game was tied and bad calls happen yes, we need a coach's challenge.... but Preds are struggling with or w/o refs
Chappelle was great glad he played it cool when that dumb bitch tried to get on stage and give him a hug. Also was confused by the dj after ashy larry interesting way to get the crowd pumped good show hes still the man in my book. Does anyone know if they are going to have a similar set up to the Budweiser deck or whatever it was called in the new Sound stadium?

Went on the pedal tavern last Thursday night due to my girlfriend's best friend visiting and them wanting to do touristy things. It would have been better if you were over the back wheel well or even the back bench. I was in the very front and per the driver, it is the toughest place to pedal. I felt like I was the only one busting my ass on those shitty hills downtown. The worst was the last stop of the night and having to pedal up from 1st/Broadway to 3rd/Broadway.
Just got back into Nashville for the first time in a year. About to go ravage some Baja Burrito. East Nashville Beer Fest tomorrow and fishing the Caney Sunday. Hopefully the weather holds up. Im amazed at how much has changed in Nashville.
NRA brought in some interesting characters this weekend made for some good people watching entertainment. Went to the crawfish boil across the river yesterday some beautiful women strolling around. The beer cups were tiny and lines were absolutely horrible to get a refill and for crawfish enjoyed it regardless. Went to Pharmacy and had the sexiest waitress I've had in a long time. Wish I wasn't such a hungover pussy she had a striking resemblance to the AT@T girl and some big ole cans to match.
Closest I came to pissing myself in a long time waiting in line to pee. Only real problem were the Lines. They were a mess all night needed to be a few more crawfish lines/more staff helping out. Other than that everything was fine and they gave you plent of crawfish so you only had to go through the line once.
Nashville folks, buckwild and I will be in Nashville this Thursday through Sunday for a bachelor party. Any must dos for 15 or so guys? Best bar districts? Also, I fly out at 8pm on Sunday and everyone else will be leaving around noon that day. Any bars with good looking bartenders that I can ogle at for an afternoon that isn't too far away from the airport? Any advice is appreciated. Looking forward to visiting your city. Never been before.
loved the east nasty beer fest because the lines were short.... I am guessing the crawfish boil is free, so you really cannot control the amount of people there
forget who reps. these guys but: http://nashville.eater.com/2015/4/14/8411793/smith-and-lentz-brewing-east-nashville
General consensus in this thread is a pedal tavern is a must do activity for any bachelor party in Nashville.
Then they should probably go hit up demonbruen to go to the greatest bars in Nashville, Tin Roof and South.
Were you involved in the sale of that original piece of property that you wanted for these guys? The one that burned down and sold last week?
Brewtus I hope you know Jax Teller and I are fucking around. Avoid Pedal tavern and demonbruen at all costs. Just walk around Broadway going into whatever bars look appealing to you. Eat at the Pharmacy if you have time, its across the river but close enough to downtown. I'm sure other guys have more recs, but definitely start with those Edit: And I have no idea about bars close to the airport. Depending on where you stay, I would just hang out at a bar around there and catch at uber to the airport once its time.
I figured the Pedal tavern had to be a joke, but didn't know about Demonbruen. Thanks guys. Appreciate the input.
Forgot to mention: the Preds have a home playoff game on Friday night, so Broadway is going to be an absolute shitshow that night, if that's your thing. Going to be a TON of Chicago fans around this weekend
Any good T&A joints that I can hang out in on Sunday? I'd prefer that than a random bar for obvious reasons.
eat Hot Chicken. I know they have it in Columbus now. If you wanna stay downtown, eat at Hattie B's. But my suggestion is to find your way late night to prince's. The original, in the ghetto, open until 4 AM on FRI/SAT. Will be much more memorable. But ya, hit up Broadway/2nd avenue for typical Nashville fun. Find a brewery or patio and do some day drinking. TN Brew Works, 12 south tap room.
Yeah, pedal taverns are the worst idea I've ever heard and I have no clue how they make money. I've never once seen anyone on board smiling when they pedal by on the street. Everyone looks miserable, to be honest. We make fun of it constantly in this thread, so it was a bit of an inside joke. It's really too bad this is your weekend to come, because it looks like the weather is going to be shitty. I'd suggest hitting up Soulshine in Midtown on Saturday afternoon if the weather breaks. They have a great patio and live music. I'd actually suggest hitting up Hattie B's for lunch (Nashville hot chicken), and heading to Soulshine afterward. The Midtown bar scene is almost all locals. Downtown is an experience, and it's almost all tourists. I only go down there when I have friends in town who demand it. But it's a great opportunity for guys who aren't getting married to find a one night stand. We talked a little about the Nashville strip club scene in our team thread, and, like I said, it's far from great. The city put a ton of ridiculous restrictions on strips clubs and private dances. They are BYOB though, which is nice. Crazy Horse is probably the best one in town.
I actually wasnt but thats how they got to me though so in a way I am thankful for it i guess. This spot is better for sure. That move by the owner was dirty pool. The fire marshall said the circumstances were shady but its about what you can prove with the fire so they chose to move on. Only took 7 months....
