I haven't finalized it yet, but I think my plays will be: Akron +14 UCF -1.5 UCF OVER 49 BC +14.5 FSU under 46
public is determined by percentage not line movement...but yes...it seems to be...so I made a play on ucf.
it's on cbssportsnetwork here. probably idiotic of me, but took the over 46 on FSU-BC. seems like the type of team where FSU blows them out gets return TD's and pick 6 TD's.
indeed. they must have thought the whole game would have played out as ugly and slow as the first 5 minutes did. shit, might even see a wild BC score here if they can hold on in the red zone.
Rough night last night for me. There's always tonight. USC @ Colorado +21/57.5 Central Michigan @ Kent State -1.5/43.5 When I looked last night, CMU was a public road underdog. I'll probably play them. USC should run through CU. The Buffs just aren't very good. First glance, I like USC and Kent State, and looking at the under in the USC game.
madjacksports.com: thunder, LBD, nbakid, boxandone are all very solid regular posters there therxforum.com: can go to the "service plays" forum and get all the Tout picks that normally have to be paid for. on the CFB forum I really only look at FTK69 he made a killing for me in bowl season last year and is doing very well again this year covers.com is a shit show with all the people there trying to gain credibility as a good capper
I find a lot of sites are just guys not much more versed than myself, taking themselves too seriously...at the end of the day, it's betting on sports...it's not that big of a deal...obviously a lot of it comes from the nature of the exercise being very egocentric and the level of self-satisfaction that comes from a winning streak is greater than most other activities where you probably had help, etc...Anyway, I like the conversations, so I make the rounds to various boards.. Rxforum SBR mostly.
Lot of truth there. 99% of posters on sportsbetting boards are average joes like us that post picks for fun. there are a few guys out there that win on a consistent basis year after year. normally if you make an intro thread and ask, people will be honest and tell you who the legitimate winners are on the board
Definitely like Kent....will stay away from Crado, though I think they may be the closest to lock the entire week.
Covers was so much better 3-4 years ago. Now, it's ridiculous, and most of the people I followed have left and gone to other sites. It helps when places like here have people willing to share information that isn't available to everyone. And, outside one crazy 3-page argument in King's thread, everyone is here to help and try to win. I just try to read as much info as I can and make the best decision from what I gather.
My book has dropped the line 1.5 points. I could see USC struggling to over last week's loos to Stanford. USC is 102nd in the nation in pass defense. That's really all CU has going for them right now.
He's been really cold. I was just telling my old roommate last night that I don't remember the last time I hadn't seen him post a winner. And I think he posted a winner last night. I think you might know my old roommate. He was a Sigma Chi.
I spend my time between CTG and theRX. TheRX has lost a lot of sincere talent over the past few years and seems to be moving into Covers territory as far as being overrun with idiots. I just started at CTG this year, and the quality of discussion over there is very good. For whatever reason, I haven't spent much time at SBR
Just going through some stuff and stumbled across this website. It's a computer system. 52% ATS on the year. It did pick Tulsa to win outright last night, but it's 2-3 so far on the week. Interesting, nonetheless. http://www.collegefootballpoll.com/wp_archives_110111.html
Probably also helps that no one here is betting tens of thousands across multiple sites either. That alone would make me not wanna share any info at all w/ anyone. Is TheRX one that is/was run by a guy who called himself The Doctor back in the late 90's/early 2000's?
Week 11: Full of MAC games 11/8/11 Northern Illinois @ Bowling Green +5/65.5 Points should be scored in this game. Neither defense is very good. NIU's offense is very balanced. BGSU is a decent passing team. I like the over. I lean towards NIU, but I don't like betting against the home dog. Western Michigan @ Toledo -11.5/69 It's really hard for me to see how this game stays under 80. Both offenses are very good, with good balance. Neither defense is really good. I feel like I'm repeating myself. I like the over and Western Michigan. Should be an entertaining game.
Miami (OH) @ Temple -13/44 Leaning Miami and the over. Miami throws the ball well and is 4-1 since starting 0-4. Miami can't run the ball, especially against Temple's defense. I think this could be another shootout in the MAC. If Miami can slow down Temple's run game and force Coyer to beat them throwing the ball, Miami has a chance to win outright. Temple 27- Miami 20
Good night last night. Three games tonight: Ohio @ Central Michigan +7/59.5 Houston @ Tulane +34.5/76 Virginia Tech @ Georgia Tech PK//50 Side Leans: C Mich +7, Houston -34.5, GT PK. Totals: Ohio over, UH under, GT over
my guy has UH at 37.5 bc we've been killing him all year on them. what a fuck...i feel like taking it just to spite him.
After looking at this game a little, I think UH still covers. But there might be 100+ points scored in this game.
My reasoning is UH might score 70 which would give Tulane a bunch of possessions. UH's defense is decent, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Tulane score 24-28. I think the game will hit the over.
Got 2 units on UH-34 1/2. And a 3 team parlay with UH-34 1/2, Ga Tech and the over at 46 for the game.
