Sidney(sprained hand) and Moultrie (tendinitis) didn't play tonight. expected to be back for friday vs UT-Martin
Brad Tinsley hit a shot to win it for VU 64-62 Jenkins with 14 and Taylor with 13 in a game where we were 12/30 from the field in the first half Jenkins played 38 minutes so I'm guessing the ankle is going to be something he can deal with
UT falls to Memphis in 2OT AthlonBraden Braden Gall What a performance from Vols forward Jeronne Maymon in 2OT loss to Memphis. 32 pts, 19 reb, 16-17 from charity stripe. A star is born.
I have cared about all three sports at Alabama for a long time. Give me a fucking break Virgil Caine. Just because we happened to have a damn good football program, and are considered a football school, doesn't me all of us only care about football. College basketball is almost up there with football in my book and baseball would be higher if our school cared to improve it. It's hard watching us suck so much and for so long but i'll still be at just about every game once the season starts. And i'm in CC as often as possible.
Can probably count their NCAA appearances on one hand. That's pretty fucking awesome so I hope there is no sarcasm in your post. Ole Miss has a rich history.
im pumped for the UA MSU game in starkville and i was at the 04 MSU BAMA game at CC when we won the SEC. It was full of MSU fans
Remember that time Earnest Shelton put up 1000 threes and we doubled y'all up? Had a little rivalry going with a good friend in HS. He was a huge msu guy. Those were some fun games and that was out of fucking no where.
It's a shame that such an illustrious and rich program as Alabama has lost three of the last four times they've played such a terrible, tradition-less program as Ole Miss.
Hey, NC State fan, GTFO. Don't bring Mark Gottfried around here b/c, as you can see, Bammers are talking about their rich history, which, if you remember, was largely accomplished by Mark Gottfried and they hate him.
keeping it SEC bball related. always thought this was a very neat part of the history of our program http://www.onenightinmarch.com/press/
i'm actually still pissed chris warren went to you guys when Herb Sendek left cause we've been without a scoring guard for the 4 years he'd have been here. woulda changed a lot about our team. but at this point i'm actually really happy with Gottfried. Top 3 recruiting class and our team looks light years better now than it did even at it's best under Sidney Lowe. I don't think we're going to win natty's with him, but he'll get us back to top 25 and recruit better than he did at Bama, so i'll be content with that for now.

Which turns out is just under a third of their program's entire NCAA tournament appearances. Rich history, y'all.

MSU beats UTM 76-50 Rodney Hood and Dee Bost each had 17 pts Deville Smith came off the bench and scored 15
Vandy beat Monmouth 95-73 King Rice is in his first year as HC at Monmouth after being a huge part of our recruiting success over the past five years gave up too many points in the paint to guards, we will struggle vs Xavier if the defense isn't better. Were without Steve Tchiengang due to concussion-like symptoms per our play-by-play guy Joe Fisher Jenkins had 18 in 27 minutes, ankle is fine. Tinsley and Taylor both had 16 in 25+ minutes. Brad did it on four freaking field goal attempts (8/8 FT and 2/3 3-pt), bad ass. Taylor did it on 6/13 (4/8 FT) Xavier Monday night at 6 CT....should be an awesome game
Vanderbilt 95, Monmouth 73 North Carolina 87, South Carolina 62 Auburn 78, Nicholls St. 57 Xavier 70, Georgia 56 Mississippi St. 76, UT Martin 50 Florida 105, Jacksonville 62Ole Miss 64, Miami 61
