got a room at aria for the first thursday/friday/saturday of the tournament. three nights was only $350 total with the help of some player points. (apparently i churned a lot more than i thought the last time i was there.) mandalay bay was offering a free 'suite' for the first two nights, but the third night was almost the price of the whole stay at aria.

$350 for two weekend nights during ncaa week at aria is a fucking steal.

This weekend must be a warm up. Miss America at Planet Hollywood and Miss Hawaiian Tropic at MGM. It's like the undercard for the main event.

Im taking my gf in July for her 21st even though im being selfish cause im taking her so i can go. We will be staying at either Planet Hollywood or Ceasars as it will be mostly comped. Tickets right now are fucking outrageous prices have gone up 200 per ticket to 637 out of Tallahassee. Jax is 500 so I may end up doing that again, hopefully ticket prices drop in the coming months or this is gonna suck, the only good thing is I have skymiles to take a $100 off right now and I just got a delta credit card so im gonna gain miles and hopefully have one ticket paid off before i purchase tickets also i really enjoys free baggage . any show or dinner recommendations would be thankful, as all Ive done is get hammered and gamble

Talked to a buddy who's wedding party I am in and he's probably going to have the bachelor party in Vegas. Went their for his BDay a few years back. Should be a good time and haven't been to Vegas in a while. Gonna start saving some cash for it.

If you don't want to leave Caesar's, Bradley Ogden is probably your best choice. Bouchon at Venezia and Michael Mina at Bellagio are my favorites in that range; there might be some good options in the Cosmopolitan, too.

To piggy back on this, Jaleo would be my recommendation if you want to try Cosmopolitan. Picasso is amazing at the Bellagio, but it would run higher than $150. If either or you really like steak then Cut at Palazzo is my favorite. Their sides are ridiculously good also. For seafood, RM Upstairs (Manderlay Bay) is a great place that I never hear anyone talk about.

If you do Bouchon, go for brunch and try the chicken and waffles.

For a secondary meal, I would really recommend China Poblano at Cosmoplitan. It will probably run in 50-75 is you try a few different dishes, but it well worth the money.

I've never been to Fatburger, but I have heard good things.

If you can stumble down to the Cosmo/PH area, I like Pink's Hot Dogs and the 3rd floor pizza place at Cosmo. Holstein's at Cosmo is also a great burger/milkshake. For breakfast-type food, you have to do Hash House a Go Go.

Anyone ever stay at the signature at MGM grand? It is east of MGM (basically the pool is in between) and then South East of Planet Hollywood. Found a 2 BR suite that sleeps 8 for about $1100 for 3 nights. Seems like it is a good deal and you have access to the MGM pools as well as a private pool for each tower (there are 3 I think).

    Anyone heard anything about this?

Just got back from vegas three days ago, was there for four days for a bachelor party. We stayed at Caesars, and it was great. Some thoughts/tips, in no perticular order:

    If you want gambling:
Gamble at 'medium' to 'good' casinos. Avoid shitholes like O'Sheas. Avoid top-end like Wynn, Encore, and Cosmo. Avoid anywhere with scantily clad womenz dealing while others are dancing in cages. Why? Because all three of these types of places have worse odds. It's everywhere, but most visible in blackjack, which will only pay 6-5 in some places. You'll also see no double-downs after split, only doubles on 10 and 11, and the 'field' bet in craps only playing double on a 12 instead of triple. Odds also worse in 3-card, Let It Ride, and others. Also avoid Caesar's sportsbook: it's too popular. All the books have the same lines and payouts, do yourself the favor and go to a less popular book to save yourself a 20 minute line.

    If you want entertainment:
See the Penn & Teller show at the Rio. Saw it and it was amazing. Very :americafuckyeah:. Also catch the Bellagio water show, preferably at night. It's every 15 minutes outside the hotel, and lasts about 2-3 minutes. Bring a camera.
Walk the hotels. The sheer size as well as the architecture is amazing. NYNY, Luxor, Caesars, Wynn/Encore, MGM, Tropicana are some of my favorites. Others like Excalibur are good for a 10 minute walkthrough and laugh.

    If you want alcohol:
Important! There is a small licquor store on I think the NE side of the road...right next to the Venetian. This place is great. Very reasonable (considering its vegas) and has everything you need. We got a bottle of Sky vodka, some sprite, some cranberry juice, a bottle of Dewars White scotch, and a small army of gatorades and waters and walked out for only $20 or so more than you'd expect to pay locally. They will immensely rip you off even at the hotel convenience stores, so venture out and find this place or one like it to stock up. Remember drinks are comped at all casinos, and remember they water them down so you're better off ordering things difficult to water down like long island iced teas, beers, whiskey on the rocks, etc. We were pretty much buzzing for 4 days straight just off casino drinks and our licquor store run. Remember to buy tons of waters b/c there are no fountains anywhere and god help you if you have to take one from the mini bar it'll be like $10 for an 8oz dasani.

    If you want eye candy:
If going w/ your gf you cant go get a hooker (or can you?) but there are other options. Caesars, for all it's goodness, had notoriously ugly dealers and waitresses. The hottest we found were at the Rio. All the waitresses were in black lace tops and matching thongs, and they were all great. Also if you want to go clubbing I'd suggest Tao at the Venetian. As you walk in there are women in basically fancy bathrubs wearing only bikini bottoms and rose pedals on their nips. In that club like most others, half naked girls employed by the club are literally everywhere you look...in cages, hanging from the ceiling, at the bar, etc. Be smart about clubs though, they manufacture rediculous lines then make you pay to skip them. Try going out to a very late dinner at a place that will then stamp your hand and let you in w/o cover or lines. Call in advance to make sure that'll work.

    If you want food:
Two key suggestions here. First, for the love of all things holy, go to buffets. Plural. I don't even care where. We ate at Wynn and Rio, and previously I ate at Luxor, and they were all amazing. Get them comped at the casino if you can...ask the dealer if they can help you out at all (tip before you ask). Also go to the american steak house in Caesars (I think it's called American Grille or something, but forget. It's got American in the title). Spectacular steaks and A+ service.

OK that's all I can think of for now. Feel free to ask questions or reply with some sort of tl;dr gif.

I dont think it really will be that big a problem. I should have enough skymiles to have a free ticket or really close to a free ticket. Part of my room will be comped. I seeing it cost me no more than 1500-1750 between airfare, room, dinner and one or two shows. Which isnt bad for two people when youre wining and dining

Couple of other things as I re-read the essay I just posted.

-By 'ugly dealers and waitresses' at Caesars, I mean they were all like 40-60y/o asian women. Who knows, maybe that's your kinda thing.
-If gf likes chocolate, bring her to the worlds biggest chocolate fountain, in the Bellagio.
-bathrubs = bathtubs in the above post
-its a desert, and its fucking dry. granted we went in january but within about a day everyone in my group had some combination of nosebleeds/chapped lips/cracked skin. i know this sounds stupid, but pack chapstick/hand lotion/etc.
-there's a freaking hilarious midget outside o'sheas on a mic advertising that they have beerpong. he just repeats the same speech over and over. he's dressed as a leprachan. be sure to say hi.
-batman and joker were walking around the city, usually near Mandalay Bay. i dont know why. their costumes were unbelieveably detailed, it had to be professional. but they were just walking the streets eyeing each other, then stopping for pictures. keep an eye out for schenenagans like this
-if you're trying to work off some of the buffets, go for a jog anytime before about noon. count how many walks of shame you see. be sure to look into the backs of cabs too. it's quite the fun game

Found a listing through a site called bluechipvegas.com. Found it off of cheapovegas.com. It is the listing service for the complex or something. I did look at VBRO briefly. I'm going for my bachelor party in July. When are headed out?

That is the down size, but looking at a map it is right behind MGM grand (AC walk way to it) and it is right below Planet Hollywood. So a quick walk it would seem. I could be wrong and Vegas blocks are miles, but I didn't look at the distance key on google maps when I checked it out.

I'm going to be out there Late May-Mid July for the WSOP.

I really wouldn't sweat the no casino part. As you said, Signature has AC moving walkways to the MGM Grand, and, depending on which tower you are staying in, can walk practically straight out on the strip.

I talked to the people at Blue Chip Vegas when I was looking for my place. They offered a good deal and you should do fine going through them. The only reason I didn't use them is I found a couple who rents their condo out through VRBO. They gave me a great deal since I was booking it for such a long period.

I stayed in MGM Signature. It's a decent indoor walk to the MGM casino. I'd say it's at least a 5 minute walk. Not terrible, just that whole complex is gigantic.

The thing about O'Shea's is that it's the live training place for CET dealers. They're all new and make mistakes. Blackjack there is ok because it's easy to watch and fix.
I've been screwed over on their craps table a few times, only got my correct money once out of 3 screwups.

Never actually been inside Bill's/BarbCoast. I assume it's just a bigger version of O'Shea's.

Heading to Vegas Feb 10 for the weekend, staying at PH. Anyone ever eaten at Pampas Brazilian Steakhouse in the miracle mile shops?

Also, for those who like shows, anyone been to any of the Cirque shows (including le reve). Any recommendos as to which is best? Guys I'm going with along with myself plan to be intoxicated the whole time, so the less story the better.

And O'Shea's is the shit! Especially after a 12 hour craps bender at 5 in the morning!
