Erich Church- The Blood, Sweat, and Beers Tour Chesapeake Energy Arena Oklahoma City, OK Thu, Mar 8, 2012 07:30 PM
Rumor is that if you get the VIP passes, he's gonna let it "all out" during the acoustic session. Like passing around a bottle and a j or two.
That's pretty surprising if true The Tumbleweed has finally been bringin in a lot of shows. This weekend after the football game Turnpike Troubadours are playing, I won't be going to that one though. Then next weekend on Friday they've got Bo Phillips Band and then Josh Abbott Band on Saturday
I really hope they don't lay an egg for Calf Fry. Tumbleweed actually had the biggest crowd for the Wade and Randy tour this year, which the merch guy for Randy was shockingly surprised at. Still a ton of bitterness because of the stupid CCR incident.
Yeah, after the shit show that was College Days, I imagine they'll do right by Calf Fry this year. I'd really like to get Wade up here for that
Just looked at this article some more because the lady friend is obsessed with Eric Church. I saw he's touring with Brantley Gilbert, so that might be enough to get me down to OKC
Big fan of these songs right now http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a0ksAjpvZcw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jw0Q1Lh0nPc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9nMVUsbDOGk
Does anyone have a link to Cory Morrow's Vagrants & Kings? The 2 blogs that have been posted in here don't have it. I've been jamming to that album on Spotify and I want to put it on my ipod
Bump For you former Stillwater people, the Tumbleweed is finally getting its act together. Whiskey Myers plays this week, No Justice the next, and in February it looks like Kevin Fowler and Micky and the Motorcars will be here as well. Really pumped about Micky
Downloaded some of the newer stuff off of Seddemusica today. Enjoying TC Fambro and the Copperheads, Crazywater, and Grand Tetons.
The new No Justice single 'Shot in the Dark" is out: http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/shot-in-the-dark-single/id495023766 I like it. Pretty catchy tune. I'm getting excited about their new album.
If you're not a Todd Snider fan, you will be after this video. The music is good, but he's an even better storyteller. NWS
Friend of mine just came out with his first single on iTunes.. Would appreciate if y'all checked it out.. Court Nance- Tattoos.. Its a pretty good tune for his first single
I got to see Todd Snider live in Chicago back in November. Excellent show. I have it on MP3 also if anyone wants a copy. He's definitely a must see live though.
The last place we played was on the Houston Power for a summer, think it was in 05. Before that it would have been years earlier when we were on a team together
Probably don't know you then.. Played with him on a team called the Houston Express, then against him in high school playoffs
Oh yeah, the Express. What high school did you play at? And trying to get back to music, couple of good ones getting a lot of plays right now: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CpgVWMghsRg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jAB4jZ7mu94
SIAP: http://www.tmdailypost.com/article/entertainment/fightin-words-robert-earl-keen-v-toby-keith Robert Earl Keen calling out Toby Keith for being a faggot. REK
Big Paul Eason fan. I can jam to the Mountains of Nuevo Leon CD anytime. He played a bartab for us in Austin a few years ago and after the show went out and got shit faced with some of my friends. Sounds like a pretty cool guy.
One of my favorite albums. He doesn't get talked about much around here. Deserves a shit ton of credit
I love all his references to Mexican culture and to small town staples throughout the state. Tonight We Ride and Sweet Red Llano Wine are two of my favorite songs. From Keepin' it Tween the Lines, I love Close Don't Count for Nothing. Its funny how it describes so many ACC kids so well.
I've been on a big Wade Bowen streak recently, I'm jelly Edit: You have Randy Rogers in Raleigh in Feb too. Some of these guys need to make a stop or two in Alabama
I've seen both. Both are worth going too. Didn't realize you like the Red Dirt Stuff. Woodrow Dantzler he'll be at Coyote Joe's
