I don't have much more to offer to that. It only happened twice for my pup very early on (1st month), and in both cases we figured out he was either sick or the crate was too big.

there is a very exclusive dog training and obedience school here is Augusta. they do everything from K-9s to your average dog that is going to be your companion. its 1000 bucks for a month but you get the whole nine yards. COMPLETELY potty trained, all the commands (guaranteed to obey) and they even throw in a couple tricks... (shake, roll-over, back leg stand, ect) is it a smart investment?
Fuck no. Hell you could buy another purebred with good bloodlines for $1000. And I think the training process is a serious bonding time and d'aaaww time as well. puppies that are confused as shit at what trick/command you are trying to tell them to do are cute as hell. Hell I still love when my dog tries doing multiple tricks at once to get a treat Im holding. If you take that pup to the school, you'll never get to see him/her do a laying down-speaking-shake. it's fantastic
no the pictures are awesome, although you prefaced them by saying you were reposting. which means they normally woundn't get a like at all. This isn't Unicef
no, I posted them in another thread the other day, got like 10 likes... i've never posted in here (I don't think), so I was going to repost them here and get the likes that might come from that
Prayers. It's so shitty that puppies still get that at the rate they do. I was so nervous getting one just because of that.
my dog is going to the groomer today she is all like but when she comes back she will be all like. will post pics also sorry to here that J. Crow hoping for the best
thanks. She's in the hospital now. I just talked to the vet and she thinks she will make it but can't guarantee me anything yet.
it really depends on what you want out of your dog/how lazy you are. those places will do everything for you and you come back with a great dog. for a month it will learn everything they need too, and its really not that much time with out your dog. I had my Golden professionally trained though basic gun dog training which took a while but was totally worth it.
If I had a hunting dog that I was gonna use for regular hunting every season his whole life, I would definitely get him professionally trained. Odds are I will get a hunting dog in the distant future and do just this.
mine is too old to hunt now(she just turned 8) but still knows all her commands, and the hunting training didn't kill an ounce of her love for me
Vet says we caught the Parvo early enough where it's not going to be deadly. Just went to go see her at the vet hospital and she was pretty much back to normal. Vet said she is eating and shitting regular and being very active, which are all great signs. She should be able to come home on Friday.
Thanks. Hopefully this is the last of her health problems. Probably gonna invest in pet insurance though.
adopted this little guy from animal control Tuesday... he's a 3 month old lab/shar pei mix. Meet Hudson
skin is going to be a bitch when he gets older. make sure you keep up with it or it will cause alot of health problems. good looking pup tho. good luck.
Got our pup back home, but she's being a real brat now. Acting totally different than she was before. Won't listen to anything and continuously cries and barks. She never did that before.
God damn that's a good looking dog. I wanted a shar pei in the worst way. Obviously happy with what I do have and wouldn't trade her for anything.
