The Chechnyan throat slitting video was my first real, real gore video. So awful. I have seen 100s more sifting through trying to find cool shit on theync, liveleak, etc. and that is one of the only ones that's just stuck in my mind after all the years. Awful.
Yeah, that was pretty brutal. You could here the gargling of his blood spilling out of his throat. DAMN!!!
Yeah, he's coming back again and playing after the Pacquiao fight. I'm considering it this time as they have really stepped up security at the bar he's playing at.
Yep. That and when I saw it, I couldn't have been older than 14 and was still pretty naive. Couldn't comprehend that someone could do something like that to someone and wanna show it off. Spoiler Now I know how fucked up the world is.
Mexico just seems like such an awful country. Always have that nightmare like you see in movies, get really fucked up and somehow end up in Mexico...
I go there twice a year for work, for a week at a time. Monterrey, Queretaro, and San Luis Potosi are the cities I am in. It really is awful there. Last time I was there, we got flagged down by a "cop" who said we were speeding. After he realized there was a language barrier, he started rattling off things he knew we couldnt understand, until finally he saw an american $100 bill in my coworker's wallet and pointed to it. He took it and let us go. While I was in Monterrey, the cartel bombed a car in the downtown area. It's just a place where you truly don't want to go outside at night. Traffic is horrible, but you're advised not to take toll roads because the cartel knows that only wealthier people are on the toll road. Apparently now they are hijacking trains, and somehow have the logistics set up to steal entire train cars. Everywhere you go, the Federales are rolling around in pickup trucks, carrying M-16's. They place checkpoints on the middle of interstates, which A) causes major traffic delays and B) gets you harassed by the federales. It really sucks because Mexico is a BEAUTIFUL country. I would absolutely love going there if I didn't have to watch my back everywhere, and deal with all the corruption.
thats weird b/c i go down there all the time to visit my cousins in Monterrey and my family is in Guanajuato (where i lived as well in middle school) so we I visit Queretaro and SLP.............never had any issues down there, Monterrey is a bit hairy right now.....my parents live in Mazatlan and people get smoked all the time, buts its like the hoods down here if your a gangbanger, drug dealer, cop you better watch your back.......but where isnt it like that in a major city in the US.......the other 2 places are pretty chill and there is alot of cool shit to see if the old colonial cities of Queretaro and SLP......definitely feel more scared for my life in many places in the United States than in Mexico................I live in the one place in San Francisco for 9 years and i had 5 people murdered with 1 square block and 9 shot, never experienced that shit in all the years i lived in Mexico or spent time down there
Good post. Listen....there are parts of Mexico that are fucked up, but much of it is sensationalized by the media. There are parts here in the states where folks wouldn't dare drive at night or really any other part of the day. I have family in Guerrero (Zihuatanejo and Acapulco), D.F. and Zacatecas and crime there isnt much different than that of many of the larger cities here in the states.....only difference is that theres more focus to it because of the Drug Cartels.
Yeah, same here. I went into watching the video titled "Mexican gangster beheaded by chainsaw" expecting it to be an uplifting and heartwarming experience with laughs to be had by all. When it was actually pretty sad and depressing I felt pretty misled by the thread title.
Not saying it's all happy and shiny, but you would think MEXICAN GANGSTER BEHEADED BY CHAINSAW would lead to a video straight out of the bathtub scene from Scarface, but you know what? It's not. Dude is pretty drugged up and resigned to his fate chill and it just kinda come and goes.
Though if I was that second executioner, I would have been all "Dude, can I borrow your chainsaw for a sec?"
The only thing that affects me about this video are the sounds he makes at the end. I've got this 3 guys 1 hammer video loaded up but I am struggling to hit "play." I've seen a lot of fucked up shit on the internet that doesn't really phase me, but this sounds horrible.
I'm smug about never watching this and being blissfully ignorant about people who get their heads cut off.
I would say the corruption is something you never see in the states like you do in Mexico. I've never in my 30+ years had a cop in the US just straight up tell me "pay me so much money or you or your friend are going to prison" (or heard of it happening).. have had that happen twice in Mexico and heard numerous stories of it happening.
Statements like these are pretty much why I refuse to actually watch any of these videos. Horrible shit like this is supposed to phase you so I'd rather just not watch than become almost completely desensitized to horrible stuff happening to others.
Let's be real. If you haven't already, then you're probably going to kill somebody out of anger one day. You need to brush up on cool techniques.
Yeah but it will be someone that deserves it. I've justified hundreds of people I should kill in my life. I just keep my dark passenger at bay by jerking off 10+ times a week.
Doesn't Juarez average like 8 murders a day? In 2011 Juarez had one month where they had over 200 murders. I think there was a story posted on here a little while ago where the sheriff or mayor of the city was murdered and had their face cut off and stitched onto a soccer ball. This isn't really sensationalism, some quick juggs research tells me Mexico's murder rate per 100,000 people is 4 times higher than the United States.
FUCK...why did I watch that shit? Man, the video where the two dudes in Africa were burned alive for stealing potatoes (if anyone's seen it) scarred the fuck out of me. This is a close second.
Soccer ball did not happen, and Juarez is a city you do not want to fuck with. Other parts of Mexico are perfectly fine though.
