Wow, I heard him on Jim Rome a few months ago pimping his book about how he turned his life around and cleaned up. Guess not.
I remember when he was at Wash St. there were all sorts of reports about he had head issues, and his teammates weren't big fans of his, and that if he brought the same attitude to the nfl he wouldn't last. Well he did/ and it did. His life has basically been a disaster ever since. Not really all that surprising. Saying you are changing and ACTUALLY changing are two different things.
I read somewhere that very few, if any, of the Washington State receivers showed up to catch for him at his pro day.
As much as I despise that thing, bags, that placement was spot on. 500 internets to you sir, from my private stash.
HELENA, Mont. (AP) -- Two days after posting bail for drug and burglary charges, former NFL quarterback Ryan Leaf has been arrested a second time in Montana. Central Montana Drug Force Commander Chris Hickman says Leaf was arrested early Monday in Great Falls and is facing charges of burglary, theft and two counts of criminal possession of dangerous drugs. He also is being detained on a probation violation. Hickman says the new charges stem from a burglary on Saturday - the day after Leaf was arrested and charged with burglarizing an acquaintance's home for prescription painkillers. Hickman declined to detail the allegations against Leaf regarding the latest burglary. Leaf has a court hearing later Monday. Hickman says the probation violation does not carry a bond, so he cannot be released from jail. http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/U/US_RYAN_LEAF_ARREST?SITE=AP&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT
You know....some people just cant get out of their own way. This guy played in the rose bowl, was the second overall pick in the NFL draft, with a contract worth tens of millions of dollars, and my life is infinitely better than his.
How hard is it to get pills there? I see mf's all the time down here with scrips for 5 or 6 hundred pills a month. All legal. Yes, you read that correctly
Had a buddy that was doing the same thing until a big bust of these drs happened here in Orlando a few months ago.
Former QB Leaf kicked out of rehab center, sent to prison GREAT FALLS, Mont. -- Former NFL quarterback Ryan Leaf has been moved from a central Montana drug treatment center to the state prison in Deer Lodge. Leaf was charged with breaking into two houses and stealing prescription painkillers. He pleaded guilty to burglary and criminal possession of dangerous drugs. He was sentenced in June to five years with the Department of Corrections with the recommendation that he spend the first nine months in a locked drug treatment facility. Leaf also faces the revocation of a 10-year probationary sentence for a 2010 drug and burglary conviction in Texas. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/story/21569887/former-qb-leaf-kicked-out-of-rehab-center-sent-to-prison
