The visuals and play styles for each character were fresh and kept the game interesting. It was repetitive but I beat it in a day so it was still fun throughout
Little Nemo Golden Axe Ghouls and Ghosts Side scrolling TMNT game Mega Man Double Dragon Shining Force
It's easily my favorite game ever. I really never replay games and I probably have replayed Earthbound six or seven times.
It just might create interest in the movie, highlighting Warwick Davis' phenomenal acting (...), and change his fortunes on HBO's Life's Too Short so I can stop feeling so gah damn sorry for his character.
My little brother picked up our old Sega Genesis from our Nana's house. He cleaned it up, and fixed the games. The Genesis is still my favorite game system ever made, so I have been playing Golden Axe, Streets of Rage, and Sonic the Hedgehog all day.
If you never got to play this game for PC or PS2 I feel sorry for you. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0a1sOI29qgM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zDiwUb4fZg
Here's a great fucking game for PS2, it was actually the boxing engine that ended up being a precursor to Fight Night, EA basically straight copied it and added real boxers and better graphics. But it was a great fucking game http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victorious_Boxers:_Ippo's_Road_to_Glory
Yep, average score of 7 out of 10, but it had some interesting aspects such as being able to build anything out of basically LEGOS.
Yes, I have an itch to move some boxes with a forklift, only virtually. Seriously, I would be all over that if they did remake it though. I may be alone in this, perhaps there is someone else that appreciated the story, but I would like to see a good developer get the rights to and then remake Advent Rising before making the rest of the trilogy. A Wasteland remake would be pretty sweet, that game is so old you could go a million different directions with it though. Could be argued that Fallout 1/2/3/New Vegas are Wasteland redone, I guess.
Hell Yes to Wasteland, and I wasn't the biggest Advent Rising fan, but I could see how a next gen sequel would be pretty damn sweet.
It is mostly about the story for me as I think the story for Advent, which was written by Orson Scott Card, is a top 5 story for a game ever. There were a ton of glitches in the game but when it wasn't glitching it was really good, like Halo without the powersuit + Bioshock. I hope it does get purchased from Majesco someday and gets done. As for Wasteland, I did some checking after my post and check this out from Brian Fargo (creator of Wasteland)... So it actually is happening and I believe the entire original crew that created the original is working on this one. inXile is Fargo's company, but Obsidian is working on it too and EA is helping out as well. They are going to let them package the original Wasteland with Wasteland 2, apparently. I had no idea this was in the works and actually pretty far along. Thrilled about it now and will probably buy it the day it comes out. Supposed to be released in October '13.
MegaMan is the best answer ITT. One of the best series ever. Would like for them to put all the NES ones together on one game and church it up a little bit. And keep the original soundtracks but adapt it to current technology. Get Pretty Lights to do it.
The remake of Halo for 360 was fucking awful. I don't want class based or load out based mulitplayer ever touching the beauty of Halo 2.
I agree The ONLY way I would want halo 2 rereleased is if the multiplayer was untouched (except updated graphics)
That is the problem it won't be they want to be like every other modern FPS multiplayer game nstead of old school, start with the same weapons and pick up more powerful ones around the map. Load outs in Halo is fucking laughable COD baby back bull shit.
