Alright guys lets talk about tomorrows games. Tennessee -3 vs. NC State (51.5) Boise State @ Michigan State -6.5 (47) San Jose State @ Stanford -24 (51.5) IMO Michigan State -6.5 is the right side but I am having such a hard time to pull the trigger. MSU defense returning 8 Starters that gave up 18 PPG. With Boise only returning 8 players TOTAL, everyone loves MSU. According to Covers, 60% is on MSU and yet the line moved the other way. The one thing that scares me is that Boise State in 2008 returned 4 Offensive and 7 Defensive players. Their tough game was Week 3 in Oregon and they go in there and Win. I know it was Week 3 and they had some tune up games and Oregon didn't have a defense like MSU has this year. As much as I think its a very solid play I do not trust it so I am more than likely staying away Tennessee vs. NC State is just something I can't decide on either. Another game that has so many questions. I like NC State alot this year. Tennessee has a lot of questions especially now with Rogers out. I am leaning NC State +3 but probably will stay away. These 2 games I want to pay attention too to understand these 4 teams this year. San Jose State @ Stanford. What will Stanford be like without Andrew Luck. Not nearly as good thats what. But even without Anderw Luck, Stanford has owned San Jose State. They are 8-1 ATS Last 9 against them and 7-0 ATS Last 7 vs. SJSU at home. With those numbers I will be definitely be on Stanford. But the number is the question. Right now its 24 but it was 24.5. Going to wait and hopefully try and get 23.5
I like NC State +3. Some reverse line movement plus I think they have less questions than Tennessee right now.
Played BYU -11.5 and Vandy +7 straight up. Lost on a parlay (small bet) w/ BYU, EMU/Ball St. o56 and Minny -8.5. I don't really LOVE anything tonight, but I'm likely going to run w/ Coach Peterson tonight.
adding Tulsa -1** and Cuse pk for Saturday.. Full Card Now: Thursday La Tech +7---cancelled due to Isaac Vandy +7 Vandy U 45.5 EMich +3 EMich O 58 EMich U 58 BYU -12 Saturday: Oregon -35** USC -39 Ohio +6** Ohio State -23 Syracuse pk Tulsa -1**
Thursday: Vandy +7 - I'm anxious to see Lattimore run tonight after his ACL surgery UCF -23x - UCF receivers and RBs are strong. Their OL will do enough to make both shine. Bowden doesn't have the horses yet to keep Akron in it. BYU -12 - I don't think Jeff Tuel will be able to execute Leach's offense this early in the season. 28-10 BYU Minn -8x - UNLV starting Redshirt Freshman QB, Minn starting Senior dual threat QB that ran for almost 1000 yards last year Friday: NCSt +3 - Boise St +7 - (I could write some shit to justify these plays, but basically both of these are simply based on betting trend and line movement. Vegas wants you on Tenn and MichSt)
my local....always has the lines shaded a half point to the dog because he has a lot of guys that play favs. i am rarely on a favorite so i love it.
All I keep hearing about is the fact MSU is going to be a Defensive team this year, after losing a QB and their all-time leading WR. I am nervous as well for it, but too late now, I guess it is gambling haha
after looking at several things....The over seems to be the easy play, so i am going with you on the Under. A real head scratcher, so gotta be the right side
I'm seeing NCSt +3x now. Trying to get my local guy to give me Tenn -2x then I'm gonna bet the fuck out of it and try to middle. He's gonna take a nap and get back to me.
Woke up this morning with the idea that I want MSU -6.5 but kinda 2nd guessing that one. UT/NCST Over 50.5 has been locked in since wednesday. Love that line Been talking up the Under in the MSU/BSU game but now I'm looking at possibly Boise TT Under 20 instead. Really wish it was 21
Yall think the MSU/Boise line isn't moving up any because it's on a key number or because of sharp $ being on Boise? Also, 1st half lines came out for Saturday Finalized my Saturday card with just one decision left whenever 1st Half Team Totals come out ND/Navy Under 56.5 OSU -24 Braska -19.5 AU/Clem Under 56.5 1H Bama -7.5 Last one depends on 1H TT for USC. Not sure if I'll remember to post or not while I'm in ATL, but for the record here's my decision in a nutshell: If 1H USC TT < 31 = If 1H USC TT > 31 = 1H USC -25
Friday Card locked in. Ab to hit the road for ATL and get some whiskey in my veins Nothing big on here just because I don't wanna be in a bad mood at the bar if I go 0-3 and went big $25 UT/NCSU Over 50.5 $25 MSU/BSU Under 47 $10 to win $14 7pt 3gm Tease (just wanted something that had Stanford game in it for action purposes) NCSU +10.5 MSU pk Stan/SDSU Under 57.5 Good luck tonight fellas. also gonna start a thread for each saturday's POD. You only get one per week and it has to be on saturday
Adding a few more to the lean list before I narrow it down. Navy +15 Syracuse -1 Iowa St +1.5 Auburn +3 Ohio St -24.5 Iowa -10 Texas -31.5 Washington o56.5
now would be a good time to tell you all that I am a terrible gambler and a lot of money can be made fading my picks
losing that sparty bet makes me never want to gamble again. Boise just had no business covering that spread.
