i agree on the surface, but success/failure at cu and csu and the career impact are two entirely different things.
Given the obvious talent constraints, and the fact that we play at altitude, give me someone who will run the option and wear defenses the fuck out every game. Throw in a good d coordinator and I'm happy. I say option because you can hide shit talent in that offense and who knows when we will have the guys to run much else.
As much as I would LOVE that hire (you want to talk about a guy that does not accept faggotry, he is it), that'd never happen. I think PJ likes coaching in / around the South (outside of Navy, has been successful HC at GT and Georgia Southern) and I can't see a guy like him wanting to roll into this situation. Along those lines with the triple option would be great though. If they were successful implementing that offense, I can't see playing the Buffs in Boulder, with the altitude, as being something a lot of teams would look forward to.
so now that Parsons and Ross are decommitting will anything happen? just how ugly does it have to be before anyone speaks up?
I am going to say something and hope it is not taken the wrong way. Not joking and not saying that it is right or wrong. But, because JE is black he might get more time. Institutions don't want to come off "racist".
He was hired because he was black due to McCartney "setting the table for a black man" but I doubt that would play any factor in him getting fired. Bohn did not want Embree but was forced to hire him because of pressure from donors and McCartney. CU is going to go 0-12 barring a big fuck up by another team and he will be gone. His buyout is so low that it's a non-factor and Bohn should have little resistance as I've heard that even our admin is embarrassed by the football team right now. I'm going to lunch this week with a friend who works in the AD so let's see if he has anything to say about Embree's status.
Hey guys, I'm an Ole Miss fan and just wanted to come over and say that growing up I loved watching Colorado football. That being said, I think we could actually beat you guys so that makes me feel good. I apologize but I just had to talk shit to some fanbase and I figured you guys wouldn't get too upset. Have a good day you guys.
Could? Bro, we lost to Sacramento State at home, were down 48 at half against Fresno, and only scored 17 against CSU. Ole Piss would destroy CU with this coaching we have.
@wareagleextra Colorado Buffaloes's RPI is 146th. That is worse than 24 FCS teams. Including winless Sam Houston State.
“Maybe they shouldn't have listened to us,” McChesney said. “If it was really Buffs4Life pushing for the coach, and we got the guy that we wanted, then we were wrong, or I don't know if we made the right decision. I'm starting to doubt everything, and that's not a good thing. “Honestly, if I ruffle some feathers, good. Good. Any emotion at this point from the alumni base, to the coaches to the players is a good thing. And if they have to point it at me to be the (person) who talks the truth, then that's fine.
This is what happens when you have a light skinned negro, known for making money off a convicted pedophile to run recruiting for you.
yet I'd rather be a Buffalo than have any association with the guido infested arm pit stain that is jersey and fucking rutgers. fuck off and die.
Um, what? Shouldn't the president of the university at least be watching his schools football games before he comments on the team?
fantastic gif, but you should be a little more appreciative that we arent taking your only good commit
I really want to go on a rant on BuffStampede about how Tony and Terrel, those DUDES, from the MEAN DUDE STREETS, are fucking awful at football. Alas, I was told to leave David's Uncle Tom faggity ass alone.
Here's the problem with that. When you play in a conference it doesn't take teams long to catch onto the option. First couple of years you would be golden, after that you'd be fucked.
Depends how you do it. Georgia Tech has gotten to this point, and while teams have caught on, like Va Tech a couple weeks ago, GTech waxed Virginia last weekend. Ran all over them. The option will always be an effective way to run the ball, even if teams do get over the initial shock of seeing it. Have to couple it with a solid D though, and maybe GTech has finally gotten to that point. Watched the Air Force/Michigan, didn't realize they were running the no-huddle w/ the triple option. And they do a lot of other cool stuff to change it up. That O is fun to watch.
AM via SD I pry have the email still if I did some digging through my inbox. basically, iirc, we just had to agree to quit flaming each other because Don's butt was getting sore because of "personal info" being posted
if he flames out so hard that he leaves Wazzu in the next 1-2 years then I don't think I want him at CU. Sonny Dykes is a Leach pupil though and looks like he is turning La Tech around. His only Cali connection is his time as OC at Arizona. I'd def. like some solid ground in Texas though.
Well in that case Manny Diaz should be #1 Having said that, after going to lunch with a AD employee, I didn't get the feeling that Embree is gone at years end
Youre not going to get solid ground in Texas by hiring someone who has previoisly worked there. Its gone when you left the big 12. Same with NU. Doesnt matter if you hired Diaz. Too many big12 schools and sec schools dipping their dicks in the state
