Both come out tomorrow. Will probably wait a bit on XCOM, but Dishonored looks like a must play. Anyone else picking these up?
I have gamefly, so when I buy a game I do it because I know I'll be playing it for many, many hours. When I read a review that basically says "I beat this in 6 hours", I get apprehensive.
bethesda has been guilty of doing that. Minus Fallout and Elder Scrolls. I think I beat Rage in about 5 hours and I was not rushing at all.
Also bought both today and am very earlier in Dishonored and not that impressed. It may get good, but the first 30 minutes are pretty meh.
Anyone play XCOM yet? I have not popped it in. I actually downloaded the Walking Dead game and am enjoying it.
Played through the first mission of Dishonored. Loving it so far. My first run is going to be a no alert, no kills game. I'll wreak havoc my second playthrough.
I've been playing the shit out of X-Com and I love it. Will piss you off when your guy has a 99% hit chance and misses though.
dishonored worth it? i havent bought a game since skyrim since the only game ive wanted to play is skyrim
just picked up dishonored, havent decided if im gonna sneak around and kill no one or kill everyone yet
Do one run each. I decided to kill first since that route is easier and in the beginning I had no idea what I was doing.
Tried the stealth...but I'm not great t stealth. So it'll be a hybrid run. Stealth when I can but going all ninja gaiden when I fuck up.
wow holy shit im terrible at this, i get in way too many fights and die a fuck ton. its on normal difficulty and i just get my shit pushed in
I was the same way to begin with. No matter which route you go you have to stealth a fair amount. You have to ambush people to kill them you can't really fight groups without using a bunch of consumables or having a lot of ammo.
finally finished the first mission once youre out of the sewers, sneaking is cool but I'd love to be able to actually fight more than 2 guys and survive. need to get me some runes
Highly recommend getting upgraded blink and the one that turns guys to ash when you kill them from behind. That makes it easier to kill without getting caught if you are doing a violent run through.
Dishonored was such a fun game loved trying to play stealthy so I could give Emily a better world at the end remastered edition is good. I never played 2 so I might KOP that
