it was the perfect storm of something absurd involving a wild animal happening right when people finally stopped thinking likes were gay (you'll remember we feared the change as is our nature)
I like likes because in a long thread I just control + f for "others" and it gives me only 5+ like posts
like given for this smart idea. I've been wanting a way to just find the good posts in long threads that I didn't participate in.
TMB prefers its animals to accessorize if NWestGator's Owl was wearing a spectacle it would still be #1
Wish I was clever enough to contribute something to this masterpiece of a thread. Just gave a shitload of likes instead.
How has no one in 9+ pages suggested TMB PURCHASING one of these fucking monkeys? States with No Laws on Monkey Ownership Some states have no statutes, laws or ordinances regarding owning monkeys as pets. They include Alabama, Arkansas, Hawaii, Indiana, Kansas, Maine, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia and Wisconsin. Idaho has no laws on monkey ownership -- except for one that requires the owner to show proof that the primate was purchased legally. States that Require a Permit for Monkey Ownership Some states will allow the ownership of a monkey with the purchase of a permit. To obtain a permit, the owner will typically be required to show proof of legal ownership, that there is the proper space and facilities available for the monkey and that the monkey is in good health. These states include Arizona, Delaware, Illinois, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island and South Dakota. ---- I got a fenced in backyard.... just sayin
This and the "hello, yes this is dog" memes I will never understand how people thought were so goddamn funny
Some of the this is dog memes were funny. I'm not sure that the owl got so many likes for humor, but sheer awesomeness of having an owl in your house. It was pretty awesome, and well-chronicled.
Think the owl got so much because it was original and exclusive to TMB and the pictures/video were taken by a TMBer. Kind of like Shocker's spider. Had some guy on Reddit been doing a chronicle of a spider at his work, nobody here would have given a shit.
