I'm currently watching Season 1 and it's the 3rd episode. They are talking about how the Mad king killed Ned's father and brother. Can anyone explain the back story to that please? Like why were his last words, "burn every one" and why did he torture the Stark family?
He burnt them bitches bc they demanded a trial by combat bc Reagar ran off with Neds sister. Aerys named his champion fire, trolollol. He probably said burn everyone because he was crazy as shit. If you read about Targ history you'll see a bunch of them go crazy and end up burning shit up. Probably has to do with all the inbreeding.

the spoiler function is used for way more that just spoilers on this site. people use it as a way to post pics, link articles, deliver jokes. it's not like it's impossible for someone to think it's something harmless in the spoiler. whatever though I've wasted too much time on something this stupid anyway. if you really feel the need to exercise your right to spoiler shit then go right ahead. I just don't see the need. especially when there's such a good chance you're going to ruin something for someone that has the potential to be great television.

As someone who was a showfag last year and became a bookfag over the summer, spoilers about future plot points in the show thread is fucking stupid. We have a thread for every book + a thread to discuss the show for users who have read the books. If you want to post something based off a discussion in here, just tell people to move over to the bookfag thread. It's not that hard. And I never even clicked on the spoilers, but there's a thread for us who've read the books, so just go there.
That's just it, though: Fuzzy Zoeller 's post would have made no sense in the book threads. Its only place was here, so he put it here and spoilered it.
