I sided with Iorveth. The only announcement that could possibly top this is Fallout 4 but even that probably doesn't touch this. The Witcher 2 is easily one of my favorite games and this sound like it is going to take things to the next level.
TW2 was just such a jump in terms of gameplay and visuals. I liked the story in both quite a bit. Can't wait to finally learn more about the Wild Hunt. When I read the title of the game I got very excited.
I hope we get to see more of this game at E3 or even sooner. I can't wait to hear more about it. Wish my damn Game Informer would get here already this month.
Got a free code for this when I bought my Geforce GTX 960 last week. Watched a bunch of gameplay videos and it looks awesome.
Less than a month away Gentlemen skip to 7:30 mark for the real game details before is just the history of the company.
Preordered W3 digital version. First big release I've gone digital on, because It's $53 and it preloads.
The expectations I have for this game are staggering, and a testament to CD Projek Red anything less than 9/9.5 out of 10 is unacceptable especially after all the delays and the scope of how big this game is. If garbage games like COD 57 can get a 9 then this game should easily get a 9.5 or a perfect score. CD Projek Red has never disappointed me, so I am confident in their work.
Did the same thing, first time I've ever done that. I'm fine with giving all my monies to CD Projekt Red though
Apparently there is a collectible card game you can play during the game in taverns and whatnot. Pretty cool because Geralt collects the cards as you explore. This is going to be poker and liar's dice from Red Dead all over for me, will spend far too much time on it and can't wait.
I'm sure this game will be great but I will never understand why they don't make at least an option for co-op in these games.
It's a pretty massively detailed game. I bet it would be a large amount of work to add and they already cannot get it done on time. Do any comparable games have co-op?
Nothing of this scale that I am aware of. I have always wanted Bethesda to do a co-op game. I think it would be amazing to play a co-op Fallout.
Borderlands exists for a reason! Which by the way if anyone wants to play a run-through of any of them let me know.
Borderlands is great for what it is. I have an obscene amount of time played on 2. But just like a two player co-op in Fallout could be amazing I think.
Debating whether to get this at release or wait until after the new Batman games comes out to get this. Seems like its going to be a huge time sink, probably need more than a month with the game.
I thought they said the dlc is free? What's up with this expansion pass? http://www.gamestop.com/xbox-one/dlc/the-witcher-iii-wild-hunt-expansion-pass/121137
DLC to them is things such as armor, characters, side quests, and small story add ons. Expansions to them are massive add ons to story, the map usually adding 10+ plus more hours to the game. CD Projek Red is just saying there will be no microtransactions in TW3. First expansion is out in Oct adding 10 plus hours The second is out in early 2016 adding 20 plus hours Worth$25 dollars imho
No doubt. They are going with the old school approach to DLC. Like when an Obvlivion expansions pack added a shit load of content.
Or the vampire and Werewolf expansions in Morrowwind. All I can say is bravo CD Projek Red for giving gamers hope that companies still care about gamers rather than insulting us with microtransactions and making us pay for shit already on the disc at original purchase.
cdprojekt is one of the only companies I'd even consider buying a preorder or DLC from but I still doubt I will because even though this game is looking like its going to steal several hundred hours from me over the next few months I doubt I'll still be playing in Oct.
