Solomon Burke's "Fast Train" is infinitely better than Van Morrison's. Whoever scored The Wire placed this song perfectly to conclude season 3.
Nights in white satin starts at after the 18 minute mark. Their original arrow into nights of white satin is dope though.
Goose is probably my favorite newish band of the last couple of years. They keep getting better and better.
They're pretty good, but not as good as the cover they're covering, and neither are as good as the original imo.
Please leave and put your NJ Resident proof of ID on the table on your way out. In the past I was willing to let it slide when you either slept through homecoming or went to The Hunt instead (always, always on the same weekend) and came in here to brag to us about it but this blasphemy against musical Jesus is too much for me.
Watched JoJo Rabbit last night and this song popped up. really like Mac Miller’s version both are covers of Arthur Lees version from 1972
Didn't think I would ever see Dread Zeppelin on here. My good friend's step dad was one of the recording engineers and live sound guys for them. Robert Plant fucking loves them.
to be perfectly frank I have no idea what the Sinead O'Connor version of this song sounds like, but this cover has my people from Brutus as well as my acquaintances from The Guru Guru so I'm fairly confident it's better than the original
