What all lifts do you guys use the belt for? I'mcurious to know as I've only been using if for squats and deadlifts and thinking maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea for the presses.
Deadlifts and back/front squats over a certain weight, overhead pressing (barbell, axle, and log), and certain strongman events like farmers walk and yoke. On special occasions like anniversaries and Christmas, I wear it while making boom boom with the wife.
I was impatient and just went with the black. Kind of wish I would have waited...was going to get the gold.
FYI they take forever depending to break in. I know a couple people that have driven over them to try and loosen them and supposedly it works.

lifted twice this week with the bad knee, but no CF, just good old lifting because some of the dynamic lifts are giving me problems. also I will pray to klokov for you Tigerdb2

For all the glucoseamine users make sure it is the glucosamine sulfate formulation. IT has better penetration in the synovial fluid.
Any ideas, been sick/stressed not eating and when i eat I eat better due to my gluten free fiancé. Im below the weight i was senior year in high school and I'm not a big guy. Im sure i lost a lot of muscle when i was sick as i still have a bit of toning of the middle for abs. Just need some things i can do inside as my fiancé works out here and someone has to watch out puppy. I mean i needed to lose the weight I'm 5' 10" on a good day and weight 183 pounds and now down 152. Wanna tone etc so i don't look like a twig on my honey moon while my fiancé looks great.
jumprope and the fiancé hip hop abs. I have exciting muscle i was never the strongest of guys. I was told to get some dumbbells, kettle bell, eat right and take a couple supplements and take it easy at first alternate a weightlifting day with a cardio day
just saying it penetrates the synovial better. Never said it works. Although I compound FDA, GMP for soldiers and have had good results.
I guess you need to figure out what you want. If you're lifting and eating right, you don't have to do cardio unless you just really want to. If you want to gain muscle, make sure your protein intake is right. There are body weight exercises you can do but at a certain point you'll need some type of barbell/dumbbell and a bench if you become interested in lifting. I have no idea if any of this helps you.
Also make sure you're doing exercises correctly. You can really fuck something up if you do an exercise wrong

caught a glimpse of someone on the leg press machine (the stack weights not free weights, I only really could see from about waist down), thought - nice legs, I'll have to keep an eye on this little number. she got up a bit later and was a he. Still had nice legs, but the penis was a deal breaker.

So, think I'm going to do 12 weeks of 5x5 once I get back from vacation and change to a barbell only gym. What % of my 1rm should I start? I've looked some places and the weight seems way the fuck off for starting vs where I am now 5x. I wouldn't even get back to my current 5x level. So that can't be right. Any program better than the other? Stong lifts, Bill Starr, Blaha? Also, would like to add dips and weighted chins. Please advise. WED
I like to keep my adaptive phases in the 70-75% range and then go from there. That's a good starting point for almost every program you'll see.
I can't imagine at 75% that it would take too long to get up to speed. 5 lbs sure doesn't sound like much until you have to add it every time.

So at 75%..... 225x5 is a 1rm around 255. My last set of 5 would be 175. And over 12 weeks I would build to 230 if I added 5# a week. That seems way low and not a lot of heavy weight. Am I doing something wrong? 1rm calculated poorly?
