well... it's a logical progression of GTA 4, so on the surface it doesn't look and feel too different but they added a tremendous amount of detail to the game. The characters are great, not only do i watch all the cutscenes now, but i actually i find myself laughing and saying "holy shit." The missions are more fun The dialogue is kind of edgy and funny, as opposed to earlier GTA versions when it was cliche and stupid. The missions are not only more fun, but unlike previous versions of GTA, actually seem to relate to modern capitalism. So your character can make way more money than in previous iterations, and can actually spend that money on stuff you want to buy. There's a bigger focus on buying mods to cars (new engines, tires, paint, body armor, bulletproof tires) as well as guns (bigger clips, scopes, silencers) and buying various types of property. Oh, and then you have the main new feature: online play.
Made the upgrade to a modular power supply. It made a huge difference. Obviously not shown above I had the same cpu cooler that lebowski but made the swirh to hydro cool. thought it was a much easier install
I'll be building mine Wednesday night, I switched up the case and cooler after ordering everything and that's when those 2 pieces will be arriving. Hope to be up and running Thursday night. I apparently had a Social club account already for Rockstar, don't remember what for. Name is Poetic-
PC seems to have been assembled correctly. I got the OS in, updated some drivers, downloaded some software. I'll mess with it some more after work. I have 2 small parts coming in tomorrow that I'll be adding, then cable management, and I should be good to go. I'm dying to play GTA5.
global offensive is fucking gay 1.6 >>>> source >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> global offensive
PC is good to go it seems, GTA5 purchased and downloading. I'll snap a pic or two tomorrow of the rig, lighting in here isn't the best atm.
Thinking of getting an Alienware Alpha (not sure which model, prob just i3). Am gonna put some RAM and perhaps a hybrid hd/ssd in after purchase. I'm cutting the cord and have been looking at either buying/building an htpc instead of doing the roku/apple tv route. I'm also still playing ps3, albeit I only really play Fifa (not online very often) and Battlefield. Alienware Alpha solves both my problems it seems. I get an htpc mixed with a next gen console...kind of. Anyone used the Alpha yet?
Do you still play? I used to tear it up in high school. I actually played in a tournament called Victory in Europe for a while. We had a few hundred people from all over the world who would play all day battles on maps which were representative of areas in Europe. Had a chain of command and everything. Whichever team had the greatest area at the end of the campaign won. It was the most realistic game tournament/group I've ever been a part of.

Nothing jumping out at me so far w/ the dailies/flash sales. I have a wish list of about 12, but I'm going to be patient. Remember, only get games during the dailies or flash sales. If they don't hit those sales, buy the game the last day of the sale for the default sale price. Our wish lists are pretty similar Brick.
Fuck Rockstar Will wait on GOT and BL2 Telltale games until all the episodes are out Might get Papers, Please
I bought D4, the 20% is apparently as cheap as it's going to get for a while. I'm also waiting on GoT and Borderlands, if all episodes were out I'd get Borderlands but i'll wait for the Winter sale.
Toukiden Kiwami coming to Steam June 26th, might have to check this out. First Monster Hunter style game on PC. Looks pretty cool.
Pure evil and imagine Demon Souls was turn based and that you can only heal in combat. Every piece of loot could be a booby trap, and that you have to keep your torch lit otherwise your heroes will freak the fuck out which can lead to injuring themselves, injuring their teammates, refusing to heal or change positions which fucks you. Melee have to be in the first two positions, and can only hit the first two enemies in that line. Some abilities can only be used in positions 1 or 2 or 3-4 on your formation. If you survive the dungeon quest then you need to spend money to lower stress level of your heroes, but some can only use certain activity's such as drinking, card games, brothel, ect. The game is diabolical and I love it.
This year's meta game is awful by the way. I would have preferred the community vote with some other useless game.
