McNeil @Reflog_18 5m5 minutes ago 'The Browns hope to create a jersey that embodies their performance on the field' No, Don't do that.
sweet fuck those are terrible i guess that covers the last non-embarrassing component of the franchise.
JFowlerESPN: At Browns jersey unveiling, where prez Alec Scheiner said: "We could be like Oregon of the NFL"
I think they're terrible, I'll love them if they win in them. I don't care, please stop being the biggest joke in professional sports.
Probably my favorite mock this year. 12. Parker is an outstanding WR. I'd be thrilled if any of the big 3 WR fall to 12. I don't expect that to happen but I think if we can move up from 12 without giving up a first or second I'd do it for one of them. 19. Goldman is a fucking gorilla. He fits a need and probably has the highest ceiling of any NT in this draft. 43. Dawson is the best ILB in this draft. He plays downhill and has an attitude. 77. I'm a big fan of Mariota but we're not getting him without moving up. Getting Petty in the 3rd is the next best option at QB 111. Harrison is probably our sixth lineman from day one, can play either guard or center. 115. Donte Whitner will be 30 in July. Time to look for a guy to develop potentially as his replacement 147. O'Leary was a pretty reliable target for Jameis. He plays tough and I don't really like any of our TE's 189. Hull is a steal at this point. He's not going to ever be All Pro but he'll play ST and could develop into a starter 202. I would be shocked if Hill fell this far. I think he's been in trouble in the past so maybe that's it. Excellent value this late 229. Montgomery was projected to be a first round pick this time last year. I guess he had a bad year but he still is an excellent return man.
hey marcus according to the 41 minute mark of this video, they had a tryout for local guys, why weren't you invited? http://www.clevelandbrowns.com/medi...Show-419/947545f7-306f-4a7f-950a-890f56535058
Pettine said QB Connor Shaw "is in the mix'' at QB. "He's easy to overlook. He's very quiet. It's like he's on a budget for words for year.'
BEREA, Ohio -- Joe Haden said neither he nor his Browns teammates knew Josh Gordon was not permitted to drink when the wide receiver joined a group of players and one former assistant coach on a postseason jaunt to Las Vegas. "Listen, everybody is 21 years old. We're going to Vegas on a vacation. We know we can't do certain things, but we we had no idea [Gordon] couldn't have a drink. If I knew he couldn't have a drink, everybody would have tried to ... you know what I'm saying ... it wouldn't have been that." Joe Haden Gordon admitted in an open letter on Medium in January that his yearlong suspension for the 2015 season happened because he drank on the private plane; he wrote that he was tested shortly after the plane landed. "Nobody was aware that he couldn't drink," Haden said emphatically Tuesday, speaking on the second day of the Browns' offseason workouts. Haden and Gordon were joined on the Jan. 2 flight by teammatesAndrew Hawkins, Travis Benjamin and others and by former receivers coach Mike McDaniel. The group flew to Vegas shortly after the season ended for an MMA fight. Gordon wrote that part of his confidential agreement with the NFL that allowed him to play the final six games of the 2014 season was not to drink. He wrote he thought the terms of the agreement ended after the season, so he had two beers and two other drinks on the flight. But testing continued year-round. "Listen, everybody is 21 years old," Haden said. "We're going to Vegas on a vacation. We know we can't do certain things, but we had no idea [Gordon] couldn't have a drink. Armonty Bryant and linebacker Chris Kirksey at a pickup basketball game this week in Strongsville, Ohio, a suburb south of Cleveland. "I keep in touch with him a lot," Haden said. "What we talk about, I just try to keep him positive and make sure he's got his stuff together."
The Baltimore rioters remind me a lot of Browns fans. Just a collective group of people that don't know how to act. The streets look like the Muni lot after a game. Browns fans also weren't above throwing bottles when they got their feelings hurt by a ref. The two groups draw a lot of parallels.
You guys are offering your two first-round picks to the Titans so you can go up to #2 and get Mariota.
Fuck yeah. Bring on the perfect Russell Wilson/Kaepernick hybrid! Trade all the picks I don't give a fuck
Final guess... I don't think we'll trade up to get Mariota. I think we'll trade with NYG to get to 9 and take White/Parker and then take Malcom Brown/Eddie Goldman @ 19 and I'll be p happy.
I'd be fine with that. I know you disagree but I'd be fine with OL in place of DT at 19 depending on what OTs are there. I like Erving, he could play G or RT now then move to C when Mack leaves us
I really get the feeling we trade down again. Shelton is who they want, and I think they see him available at 19.
Who is trying to trade up to 12? Also think that they def don't make that decision without seeing if any of the top 3 WRs fall
some combination of WR, DL and OL with the first three picks is ideal, preference would be Shelton at 12, Erving at 19 and Agholor at 43. I think the national media is overstating the browns need for an offensive tackle, Schwartz is a fine run blocker and I think they're gonna focus on that.
One of New Orleans or Miami are going WR, and San Diego could easily go RB. If one of the WR's is there or someone is in love Gurley, I could see a scenerio where they swap 1st's and pick up another 2nd round pick.
I think the only thing that would really piss me off is if we go OL other than Scherff in the first round or take some shitbag like Breshad Perriman
