Not Nashville related but holy shit is this sad. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2015/05/0...hway-crash-authorities-say/?intcmp=latestnews
Went to the liquor store today and noticed dogfish head finally started distributing in tennessee. This made my day.
I love Steeplechase day. Goddamnit I love it. Met up with Wywan Bwowna too. Truly was christmas in May
Next weekend there's a Wine and Food Festival and a Margarita Festival. Any of you guys been to either before?
We had a record high of 92 yesterday especially when the thread about festivals gets wiped out in a server crash
There's a soulshine in Oxford and I've been to the one in Ridgeland a handful of times, so I'm probably going to push Edley's to try something new.
Oh shit Jarrod Parker was pitching here in a rehab start for the Sounds on Friday when he suffered an elbow fracture. The fracture was in the area of the bone where holes are drilled to hold the ulnar collateral ligament during Tommy John surgery. So basically he fractured his elbow and undid the ligament replacement procedure he underwent for a second time. Mannnnnn that sucks for a kid with so much potential Makes you appreciate the durable pitchers even more though
lol the AC and Power in our building and 2 other buildings is out so they sent everyone home this morning but my AC in my place broke last night :'(
He pitched great. So much life on that cutter. He'll pitch in the majors for a long time with a weapon like that Since April there have been three street robberies in the alley behind Chili's on West End and another by the same suspects on Acklen Park Drive. Three involved victims being held at gunpoint. That's on top of the murders in Midtown about a month ago Good thing they built that connector
Jesus. That is across the street from my condo. I walk through that alley every so often to get Jimmy John's, and I had absolutely no idea. Safe to say I'll be taking the long way around from this point forward. Or just sticking exclusively to Jersey Mike's, which is probably the better option anyways. Thanks for the head's up. Guess they are prowling for some rich Vandy kids.
If you get over to White Bridge Rd, try Sliced Awesome deli sandwiches and all locally sourced for the food snobs
Never heard of this place, but always looking for more good sandwhich places. Will definitely have to try it out
Couldn't handle it any longer, so I bought a pair of Rolling Stones tickets last night. Bonnaroo and the Stones in the same week
Josh Abbott Band is coming August 20th. Mediocre pop country, but should be some talent at Exit/In that night.
any of you guys that work in brentwood need to try Blaze pizza. perfect for a hangover lunch at work. its like a pizza chipotle. priced well too
i meant to tell you guys i went to The Row with some customers last week. It was decent, but empty because of Cinco De Mayo. The places nearby were all loaded with people.
Pretty sure there are multiple shifts.... 1. Sign up a volunteer shift 2. Tell your friends to come two-three hours after you start 3. Be hammered and off your shift when they show up 4. Profit The zoo is great. If you let your inner kid out, the jungle gym is absolutely top notch. I spent so many summer camp field trips running train in hide and seek in that bitch.
I wish I could like this post twice, for the response to me and the mention of the jungle gym. That thing is absolutely incredible.
The building on Old Harding (across the tracks from Phillip's Toy Mart) that for years has housed Phipps Construction is now painted black and appears to have been converted into the Hattie B's HQ. I wonder where Phipps is moving
This space had enough room for a pretty legit construction company to store their stuff so it's a good space to keep their vehicles and trailers. It's a small building so it's probably more of a storage base that is within very easy drives of both restaurants
That's my thought as well. They can save a lot of cost if they have the ability to order in bulk to store large quantities at a central location and move it to the restaurants as needed.
Every time we take the kids to the zoo, we end up spending more time in jungle gym than seeing the animals. It's awesome.
I didn't think Phipps kept their construction supplies there... I've been in that building before and it was basically just office space.
