Spoiler i particularly like the 2nd-to-last one, "Freeborn Man." An incredible group of musicians -- and this was back when Tony Rice was in his prime, before he lost his voice and his sweet mullet. Also its funny to see Sam Bush spaz out, and whoever that guy is on the dobro, rocking the denim outfit and white cross-trainers like an oversized 8 year old.
It was a note of sincere admiration and if you don't understand my reference about references kill yourself but watch the movie "This is the End" first
I will pass on the offer to kill myself, but I will have to look into the movie your referenced. Thanks.
Big fan of this one. This radio station does a weekly show where they have a popular artist come in and play an original and then a cover. The series is called Like A Version. There are a handful of really great covers in there if you take the time to look through them all. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLCC51BF0C94BE62E8
I found this one entertaining. I don't think I would call Nicki Bluhm hot, but she is kind of adorable.
Ok, so I was gonna slam on you of what a faggot band shinedown is but damn that cover fuckin nails it
This is a different take on this thread. Jet Airliner was made popular by the Steve Miller Band, but the man who wrote it was named Paul Pena. I never truly listened to the lyrics of this song, but something about a blind black man singing them makes them resonate a whole lot more than gay steve miller could. Take a minute to listen:
Anytime Jerry did Dylan songs make for amazing music. Also the Grateful Dead covering Mearl Haggards Sing Me Back Home is the stuff dreams are made of.
Just listened to this around the fire pit with some friends last night. Also schooled them, because they thought it was an original song of "The Band".
Video is low quality and audio isn't much better but this kid does a truly great cover of a great song.
this girl covers songs on youtube and seems to have quite a lot of views. i assume thats due solely to her talent.
