I think he's someone that could be viewed as leading by example so that leads people to believe he would be a good leader. When I think of James Milner I think of him running full speed, head down chasing down a ball trying to keep it in play (even if it's clear he isn't going to get there)
I'm just telling you why the English think he is a good leader. I've seen different reports this week of them thinking he'll be a great leader and possibly named captain. That is the reason
The one that I follow that I have found to be at least somewhat accurate is @TransferSources. One thing I noticed is that they rarely ever give credit to whomever gives them their news - which is potentially a very good thing. And unlike other Twitter feeds with a surprising number of followers in comparison to their ridiculous speculation - when Ronaldo is spotted buying a coffee in a shop down the street from where Getafe plays, TransferSources is not automatically linking him to a $140m transfer there.
rumors that McClaren wants Charlie Austin, and the Chronicle this morning stated Newcastle wants van Ginkel
So what's the lastest read on Monaco? I've read conflicting reports about them buying anything or selling anything they have.
they just made a huge deal about how that was his last game. also, pretty shitty for Aleix Vidal. now not only does he have to sit out for six months, but he doesn't even have a spot waiting for him when he's eligible.
Andre Ayew close to joining Swansea. Would be a really good signing. No reason he can't get double digit goals next year.
When you proclaim for the second straight summer that you will spend 200 million this will become a constant theme. Chelsea are used for new contracts all the time
With pirlo coming out and saying he might stay for a year I assume that means pogba is gone. My guess is Barcelona unless city or psg pay stupid money
Why not? Obviously it wouldn't be Real Madrid. There aren't many other clubs out there that could afford to pay him.
If he would actually consider joining Milan, I don't know how you could believe Man U would be out of the question. Milan is a trainwreck at the moment.
Saw Redkapp thinks Swansea grab him. Would be a great signing. Lots of positives coming out so far for the Swans on who we are targeting.
HE made a huge deal about this being his last season. Basically came down to a game of chicken between his agent and the team it would appear
I read he can be "loaned" to Juve for 6 months or they will agree to a purchase is January if that is where pogba wants to go and they give something close to a record fee to Juve
Spanish media is reporting that Casillas is leaving Real Madrid. Seems as if De Gea is a certainty at this point
He will have plenty of help around him. Adds a lot to our squad to be able to play him opposite Jefferson Montero.
I have a feeling Dyer may be on his way out. Routledge is coming off an ankle injury, but he was solid prior to that. His flexibility to work the left or right side is going to keep him on the squad, but it is getting a little crowded up front. Especially if we play more of that diamond.
Even if Ayew is a huge flop (I don't think that will happen), you can still sell him back to somewhere in France for at least $10 million. That's really good business.
Agree. I don't think Dyer is I'm the plans at this point otherwise there is no growth. Routledge will continue to play and play often. Think you start Montero and Ayew and use Routledge as a super sub. Routledge can always play on the wing but can also play up front just like Ayew so it gives the club flexibility. Curious to see how we handle the midfield with Ki, Cork, Siggy, Shelvey if they are all around in Sept.
