So mad I missed them when they came around. I was all broke and shit. Won't happen again.

The axe the cables set at phases should be interesting...kind of have mixed feelings because I want to see a regular set as well...no way I miss this fest though. Less than 5 hours away and the biscuits are playing. All I need to know

Went to glitch mob this weekend...it was aight.

Yeah...just went with a friend...honestly if I'm going to go see someone that doesn't play instruments, I usually prefer something that's ambient or chill. Or at least something that doesn't sound like hype music the whiole time

      • MSO
      • Ozzy Osbourne returns to Voodoo on Halloween with Black Sabbath's Geezer Butler and guitarists Tom Morello and Slash.
The 2015 Voodoo Music + Arts Experience returns to City Park Oct. 30-Nov. 1, and headlining the Halloween slot is Ozzy Osbourne, who returns to the festival a second time after his 2010 performance. This time, Osbourne will perform with Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler as well as guitarists Tom Morello and Slash.

On opening Friday, art-pop outfit Florence + The Machinealso makes a headlining return to the festival after a 2010 performance. Modest Mouse also performs Friday. Zac Brown Bandwill close out the festival on Sunday.

Electronic acts and EDM remain a growing force on the bill, including the Skrillex and Diplo collaboration Jack Ü, as well as Grammy-nominated electronic mouse-head king Deadmau5, singer and electronic pop producer Santigold, Swedish dance producer Alesso, and mash-up kingGirl Talk.

And the electronic fleet gets its blessing from one of its creators: Giorgio Moroder. The Italian super-producer is in the middle of a comeback streak and has made infrequent trips to music festivals over the last few years. His Voodoo appearance is his only announced U.S. show for 2015.

The weekend's hip-hop lineup includes acid rap mixtape star Chance The Rapper, Shady Records rapper Yelawolf, and New York's underground up-and-comer Joey Bada$$, who performs with New Orleans' Soul Rebels Brass Band.

Recently reunited punk rock trio Babes In Toyland joins nostalgia heavyweights Jane's Addiction, Third Eye Blind and The Cult.

There are several bands on the bill who'll make a return trip to New Orleans for a second time this year, including Hundred Waters, The Suffers and The Growlers (and rapper Yelawolf performs at the House of Blues June 21). Also on the 2015 Voodoo lineup are country singer-songwriter Jason Isbell, My Chemical Romance singer Gerard Way, Welsh rock band The Joy Formidable, rockers Clutch, punk trio Title Fight and Oakland roots singer-songwriter Fantastic Negrito.

Local acts include Dumpstaphunk, Flow Tribe, Mike Dillon's Punk Rock Percussion Consortium, Mississippi Rail Company, Quickie Mart, Tysson, Baby Bee, Carmine P. Filthy & A Boy Named Ruth, Kompression with Unicorn Fukr and Herb Christopher, and St. Cecilia's Asylum Chorus.

Tickets go on sale at noon Tuesday, June 23 via the Voodoo website. Three-day general admission is $150, and three-day Loa VIP passes are $500. Pre-sales (through Citi, Fuse TV, Zippo and Live Nation) are open now (with password) and offer $25 off general admission and $150 off Loa.

It was 07' and I've never seen a crowd just become a wave of energy the way it did when rage started. That may have been my #1 show as I started listening to them when I was in third or fourth grade and they are probably the single most influential band of my life.

My teacher was prolly in disbelief thinking 'what kinda 6 grader writes a book report on Leonard Peltier's prison writings?'
