Kit Harington was on The Graham Norton Show back in May. They briefly talked about his contract and how he can't cut his hair, which he referred to as a rat's nest. Seems like if he was truly not in the show anymore he would have done something different with his hair by then
I dont disagree she knows a lot, but I interpreted the reading that she knows there's something to him, but doesnt know what. She needs that big piece of evidence to put it all together. She's not going to waste her power until she knows for certain imo
Euron has a horn than can control dragons and bind them to his will, so it is at least possible. Perhaps he will not ride one but bind one for someone to ride? Whatever he does, he certainly plays a role in the future. Drogon is supposed to be the reincarnate of Balerion, who had more than one person fly him. It's possible history will repeat. When Aegon died, his son Maegor bonded with Balerion and became his rider. It's possible, Jon, Dany's nephew will fly Balerion if she died. And regarding the Jamie is a Targaryen thing, what if the 3 heads of the dragon represent the 3 branches of children that came from the Mad King. Dragon 1 is Rhaegar and his descendents. Dragon 2 is Dany and her descendents. Dragon 3 is Jamie and his descendents. Clearly Viserys puts a hole in that theory but its not a big stretch. And if Jamie is a Targ, that means he killed his own father, the Mad King, just like Tyrion killed Tywin.
Yeah, I don't know how Allister plans on controlling everything now that the wildlings are south of the wall. I assume Tormund is with them helping to settle the Gift, but wouldn't he get pretty damn anxious when he finds out Jon is dead? He knew Jon was the wildlings' ally not the Watch. Unless Allister is just planning on cutting the wildlings off and saying fuck 'em.
AA will be reborn in salt and smoke. Some people believe they will drag Jon's body beneath the wall where they smoke meat and store items. The wall is also made of salt water.
That would be a terrible implementation of that prophecy. "This is where we smoke meat, so it totally counts! Get it?"
Another theory says the tears of Bowen Marsh represents the salt. No one has a clue man, people are just trying to connect dots. Is Dany's any better? When she awoke the dragons from stone, the salt is represented by being near an ocean/beach and the smoke would represent the fire from the pyre.
in the books, Jon's wounds smoke from the cold air. and the guy Wun Wun kills and waves around is supposed to be the bleeding star.
How likely is it that, in 2015, with how fanatically GOT is covered, the show-runners would end their season on a cliff-hanger - and then immediately spoil it for 90 percent of their audience? Actually dead: 10% Pulling a Steve Kerr, "oops, I lied": 90%
I thought she dropped it because she didn't want Drogo's homeboys knowing she'd married somebody else.
Wait. I didn't think they had gotten married yet on the show? I'm usually drunk when I watch it but did I miss the wedding or was that just like an engagement ring or some shit?
You guys need to watch the inside the episode shit at the end. D&d said she dropped it "very smartly" as a breadcrumb so someone could find her. To me that means Daario and jorah will be the ones finding it
I don't think there was ever any marriage. They never showed the wedding or consummating it or anything. The only time they were ever together was the fighting pits.
Also are we assuming Sansa, and in the books jeyne, are now heading to winterfell. They made a scene of Sansa finding out he was lord commander
They are just going to happen upon a ring in a huge random field far away from Mereen? Hope they bring their metal detectors.
Some of you guys must spend a ton of time reading ancillary stuff than I do, or maybe pay a lot better attention to the books. Where does it say that?
The Khaleesi of a fallen Khal is supposed to go back to Vaes Dothrak, that could be the reason why they would care. Personally I believe it was supposed to tip people off that she was taken.
You must've missed the Inside the Episode thing linked above where D&D straight up say that it is a breadcrumb.
so daario and jorah are probably going to miraculously stumble upon the ring, then fight over who gets to hold it
I was thinking along the lines of your first point. If they saw she was a Khaleesi of a fallen Khal, or any other Khak for that matter, they would rape and kill her.
Recap from the New Yorker. The writer is just a show watcher though... so I will give her a break. only thing I found interesting was the last paragraph. I always find it fascinating to see what educated show watchers think. Do most show watchers think that Sansa and Reek are dead? Really? Also interesting that she thinks Stannis might not be dead... I agree. They showed Ned Stark's head getting chopped off. They showed Oberin getting his head fucking crushed. They showed Shireen getting burned alive. Why didn't they show Brienne splitting Stannis in half? Spoiler [\spoiler]
I did find it weird they didn't show stannis actually dieing. I can't remember a major character that actually died where they cut right before the death.
me too man. me too. i'm betting she chopped off his wounded leg and now he'll be peg-leg and Davos will be Capt Hook.
the book is that way too. the real deaths are all described to every gruesome detail while the fakes are brief and nondescript.

“@devincf: Slight GOT spoilers: I think when Brienne heard Stannis say ‘Do your duty’ she realized her duty is not to avenge Renly but to help Sansa. She will team up w/ Stannis and he will fill the role of Lady Stonheart in her storyline.”
Article on that very subject http://www.hitfix.com/harpy/everyone-shut-up-about-kit-haringtons-non-existent-haircut
I haven't watched the scene more than once, but to me, it seemed as though brienne let out a shriek as a result of someone else getting to her before she got to finish off stannis. I need to watch again though
