I really want to have Celtic as my #1 team but they seem to be delving deeper into mediocrity. They seem totally content running away with the SPL title each year and not much else.
AS English @English_AS 12m12 minutes ago Aleix Vidal and Arda Turan could be very, very good at table-tennis by January.
The Managing Committee approves the transfer of the player and FC Barcelona reserve the right of sale back to the Madrid club until 20 July this year Sounds like they're still going to go after Pogba and if they land him the Turan deal will be quashed (presidential election is the 18th)
You can't really expect them to ever actually compete in Europe. It's such a noncompetitive league that no top players in their primes will ever want to play in the SPL.
I dont. I first began to follow Celtic as one of my freshman yr roommates was a kid from Scotland brought over to play for our school. They were slightly better then than now, but between the SPL stagnating and the loss of any real domestic competition, I can see why they dont bother to compete. It'd take so much more $$$ to compete in Europe, and it'd be overkill for the SPL. I just have to hope Celtic can join the FA system at some point :/
There is just too much history, hatred and Scottish Pride for that to ever happen. I don't feel the least bit sorry for Celtic fans, imagine what it's like to support any other Scottish club.
Supposedly Rafa likes Casilla more than Navas but who the fuck knows. Real is going to have anywhere from 1 to 17 goalkeepers on the roster this season.
Stoke have accepted a bid from Sevilla for N'Zonzi. Not happy about this. He's been our best player for the last 2 years.
I still think he moves this summer but if he doesn't, I think he's better off putting it off until next summer and not giving united fans more reason to hate him the second half of the season
if it gets to January and he's without a deal, anyone with half a brain will know he is gone, why would he not sign a contract and give himself the security?
There's talk that Roma had til tonight to submit an offer or he was basically set for Newcastle. Curious if there was any sort of truth. Just saw that apparently a bid is/was submitted
True.. but he rated as one of the better midfielders in Italy. Considering his age this seems like a fantastic buy.
It also didn't help the SPL turned down a big tv deal a few years back thinking they could get more on the open market. They ended up getting a fraction of the proposed deal.
Nobody will want to sign Sterling if he is so sickly. Today is the second straight day he has called in sick.
