The best midfielder in the world according to Tim Sherwood is about to sign for City. I'm sure it will work out for him.
Stoke get van Ginkel on loan... possible option to buy? Looks like it is tied to the Begovic transfer somehow.
Chelsea loaning more players to Vitesse, have any of them worked out yet? Matic obviously in the long run but he was sold first.
I wish we could have sent back Atsu and gotten him or Ake on loan in his place. Chelsea sent us a dud last year. Do they still own the younger Hazard? Wouldn't mind taking him as our yearly Chelsea loanee.
Was it his choice to leave or did Chelsea push him out the door? I'd think the former because I doubt they'd risk pissing off the best player in the league by dumping his little bro.
Sounds like Schweini to United may actually happen. He is gonna be 31 but still surprised they'd sell, not like they need money.
Pep is alienating his best players. He's such an insufferable cunt. That said, Schweini and (maybe) Mueller will be interesting in the Prem and makes United borderline likable for me.
Unpopular opinion, I think Schweini is finished as an elite player, and Bayern are mugging the Mancs here. Munich has major injury issues but Germany is stock full of class homegrown midfielders. There is no way in hell they sell Muelller. I would not be surprised if Schweinsteiger is in the MLS in two years.
I hate every move, but SES looks like a half-season wonder. His stats the last few years are comical. But, it's nice knowing Galliani basically lost money on an Italian wonder kid. Galliani needs to die.
bastian's load was blown on 15 tackles in the final. he'd been running for days since 2004, he's finished. doesn't make pep's internal sabotage of germany any less obvious
Some have increased their transfer value but matic is the only one who is playing and like you said, hard to call that a win when he was sold first Bertrand traore is most likely to be the first one. Would have stayed with Chelsea last season if he didn't have work permit issues and it sounds like Jose will keep him around this season
made zero sense for either party other than to have a home grown player on the squad...what a stupid fucking rule.
Rule is fine as it stands, wants club to develop players. The Greg Dyke proposal where he wants 4 more per squad and to lower the age from 18 to 15 on imports classified as homegrown is insane. City currently has 0 British outfield players and 0 players through their academy.
