I don't think the old thread survived the crash.

PSG won the title yesterday with a game to spare. The race was actually pretty close most of the year but PSG played really well down the stretch to clinch it.

Lyon has clinched Champions League and the third spot will be Monaco's if they win next week.

Lacazette wins POY. Ibra, Verratti and Pastore were finalists.

I have a hunch that he and Fekir will stay at least one more year.

    This wasn't meant to rhyme.

Yeah that would be good for them, and Ligue 1. Some mega money club is going to offer a boatload of cash to OL this summer though, we will see if they can resist.

An underrated player that teams should be going after is Wissam Ben Yedder. Scores a decent amount playing on average Toulouse teams. I'd love to see him in Sunderland if we can get rid of Fletcher.

Ligue 1 switching to two relegation/promotion spots next season to protect investors.

Sounds like Bielsa isn't going to stay on at Marseille. Going to be interesting to see what happens in the off season. They're going to lose Andre Ayew and Andre Pierre Gignac. Going to be a lot of stuff going on there in the summer.

Hope they stay at least one more year. Would be nice to see if they can give PSG a run for the money again next year.

PSG looking real good early in the Coupe de League against Lyon. Already up 2-0.

i'm so fucking frustrated with what Nantes did this offseason. honestly wouldn't be shocked if we finish lower than 13th this year.

A lot of Ligue 1 clubs got raided, unfortunately. Hard to keep the talent in the league outside of PSG.

i just felt that after last year Nantes had a solid mix of young up-and-comers and veterans that, if they kept them in tact, they could make a run at the 10 slot this season. they just got shredded though. lost a few key veterans and two of their most promising youngsters.

i do like this new brazilian kid they brought in. fingers are crossed that we're going to see more of bedoya out wide this season.

my family lived in Nantes for ~1 year in 98-99 and I fell in love with the team. my dad and I went to almost every home game. I moved back to the states, went to college and tried to follow them closely (was tough). after college I traveled abroad a bit and went back. of course I missed their Coupe de Ligue title year and the year they won the Ligue 1 title. I landed a job over there and worked there and in Orleans for 2 years (I'm also a fan of US Orleans).

winning a game in the 89th minute on an own goal... doesn't exactly instill a lot of confidence.

Bedoya came in at the 75th minute.

Even if he does go to Mexico he won't last long. Lost a lot of respect for him after this shit. Marseilles owner/president are completely inept but its real shitty to quit on a team after one game.

Nantes played fantastic today against Stade de Reims. Finished with a 1-0 win. Bedoya came on ~60th minute and immediately made a difference. He played on the right wing and had multiple dangerous crosses, one of which should have been netted.

The kid that has taken Bedoya's spot, Adryan, is a fucking superstar. He'll be in Ligue 1 for 2 years max before someone snipes him.

same one. he's a diva... but holy shit he's playing like a mad man this year.

since we've pretty much shelled our squad, him and Bedoya are the only playmakers who are making things happen so far.

Marseilles management this summer makes Arsene look like a genius. Basically lost all but 3 players from there starting 11 and replaced them with a bunch of crap.

It's really unreal. You can hear that and not think too much of it. Then when you see that picture, holy shit. That's like next fall, Arsenal keeping Martinez, Jenks, Maintland-Niles, Toral, Serge and Yaya.

Can't see anyone challenging PSG this year. Or should I say staying in the race until the end of the season.
