Finished A Canticle For Leibowitz the other day and it is one of the most amazing stories I've read. His vision throughout several centuries of post apocalyptic man and our rise again was extraordinary. The fact is was written in 1959 gave me a new perspective on it in the middle of reading it.

    Now I'm onto 1776.

Have gotten rid of television, am reading every night. Finished up Dune and Slaughterhouse Five this week. Started The Moon Is A Harsh Mistress yesterday, still reading Lean In by Sheryl Sandberg, and I think I might start this Piers Anthony book I bought.

Is that as good as the hype it's getting? I have it on my Kindle but haven't read it yet.

Yes I've finished QoF. It was very enjoyable. Can't say I wasn't hoping for more but it was still good.

It's very well written, even if you don't necessarily agree with some of the statements and beliefs he espouses.

Plus you can read the whole thing in like two hours.
