I can play now. Its weird. I just made money selling those games back and purchasing EA Access. Like I am richer right now because of it.
Yeah I figure they'll end up raising the price because it makes no sense why anyone would choose not to do it
Gamestop will only last another 10 or so years. Will go by way of Blockbuster soon enough. Next gen won't have discs.
I am sure that there are other things that they can do to hurt game stoo but this will definitely have a negative effect on the resale market.
Perfect. No worries about not being awesome, I'm not the best GoW player either, I know plenty better. Just wanted to preface that time is the biggest need. I know you devote plenty to the Xbox One. For sure, it's the quickest way to become good too.
yes, it is free in the EA vault though. just download NHL 15 then download the beta. though at this point it probably isn't worth it because the beta ends tomorrow
I was only partially aware of cloud computing and the XB1, I can only imagine what can be done with this.
please be true! Rumor Suggests Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is Being Remade for Xbox One and PS4 Star Wars Kieran Dickson Friday, 07 August 2015 - 11:36AM Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR) is arguably one of the greatest games ever to emerge from the Star Wars franchise. Giving players the opportunity to choose their path to either the light or the dark side of the force, the RPG was first released back on Xbox and PC 12 years ago, but now rumors are emerging that suggest KOTOR could be making a comeback. According to Cinelinx, there have for, some time now, been rumblings of a potential update for KOTOR. The report suggests that the update will go well beyond the tightening up of graphics and interface, and will even include an upgrade to the overall gameplay. Could that mean there are some new quests and storylines on the horizon? Actually, before we get carried away, let's just remember that these are just rumors and although the report does mention Gamestop employees, that could be anyone from Gamestop HQ to an area teenager working in a mall. Still, this has got me rather excited. Though the game was playable on Xbox 360 and was more recently released as a mobile game, KOTOR is understandably starting to show its age. That's not to say that it doesn't still hold up well, though. The level of depth and detail contained within the game were astounding back when it was first released and still offer a lot for the modern gamer. The ability to customize a whole bucketload of armor and weapons, as well as being able to select from a solid range of force powers made KOTOR hugely replayable. Taking place some 4,000 years before the events seen in the original Star Wars movies, Knights of the Old Republic is set to the backdrop of a war between the Republic and an increasingly powerful Sith army. Led by Darth Malak, the encroaching Sith forces have scattered and weakened the Republic as well as their Jedi allies. The story spans multiple worlds, from the Jedi enclave of Dantooine to the Sith world of Korriban and even the Wookiee homeland of Kashyyyk. As well as your own character, players can take control of a host of other team members that slowly build up throughout the story. From ageing Jedi hermits to powerful Wookiees and homicidal droids, KOTOR has it all. Both Knights of the Old Republic and Knights of the Old Republic 2 are currently available on Steam. http://www.outerplaces.com/science-...republic-is-being-remade-for-xbox-one-and-ps4
On Sunday Best Buy will be offering a 40" 1080p Samsung HDTV and an X1 for $500. https://games.yahoo.com/news/40-inch-1080p-tv-xbox-114400973.html Obviously most of us in here already have an X1 but could be worth telling some friends about that kind of deal.
I own KOTOR for my Mac and I've never played it....I consider myself a gamer....what am I missing out on
12 Month Xbox Live Gold code for $30.99 http://www.cdkeys.com/xbox-live/memberships/12-month-xbox-live-gold-membership-xbox-360
At this point though....shitty graphics etc. Its basically like playing mario cart 64. Great game but its gonna detract from the experience right? I have heard amazing things which led me to download it. Couldn't get through an hour without being bored.
I mean yeah it's over a decade old but it's aged pretty well, imo. Graphics will suck and the gameplay and menus are dated but it's still worth running through it
But you're talking to a guy who maintains that the first Mass Effect game is clearly the best one despite the shitty combat and menu navigation.
Only thing about ME1 that bothers me is that fucking car/truck/cruiser gameplay I think I may have to wait for a refurbished KOTOR. I may try again but idk how long I can deal with it unless I get drawn into the story
Most of their stores are stocked with collectables now. I'm in them every day. The game section will shrink.
Yup, if you're playing the city course that is far and away the easiest course too. You'll improve a lot each round though.
just wait until you unlock and play coyote canyon. there's a hidden shortcut on almost every hole and if you find/hit them properly you can drive par 5's and shit. so fun
