No...I was...um...referring to the terrible Morgan Freeman/Christian Slater movie. But, now that you mention it...Heavy Rain is even MORE similar. I'll change the thread title based on your suggestion.
I'm intrigued by this, but also very skeptical. I'm not going to pre-order, will wait for reviews and/or a sale
I only started looking at it last week. Never played Heavy Rain but I am a big fan of Beyond: Two Souls
I looked into this when I got my PS4 and almost pre-ordered it then. But, I pre-ordered The Order so I'm hesitant on things that aren't known quantities. I'm really intrigued that the choices made actually have consequences though.
My lil bro bought it and told me to play it. I just never got around to it. Looked into Beyond: Two Souls and the ending blew my mind
So kind of like a Bioshock or Mass Effect thing where all your choices have consequences. I may end up getting this game. I still haven't got the new Batman because I keep getting sucked back into Destiny
Seems to me more choose your own adventure. Bioshock really only affects the ending. If you've ever played Heavy Rain, it looks exactly like it. There's like 9 different possible endings to that game.
Strict save system after every choice so you won't be able to go back and change Be honest, the real reason you haven't gotten Batman yet is because you're scared that you'll break the disc like you did last time huh?
No. Just know that I'll put in Destiny, MKX or Advanced Warfare before I play it. I'd break the shit out of it again though. I ain't scared.
Getting an average of an 8/10 so far not bad for this type of game which seems like The Cabin the Woods meets Heavy Rain.
I ran through it in one sitting and thought it was awesome. I'll most likely play through it a few more times before I even take the disc out. Good stuff.
My sleep schedule is absolute shit these days. I started about 930 last night and finished around 615 this morning. It flew by though. Whatever works for you. With my potato internet I would probably still be downloading the game. My playstation is getting dangerously full as well so I've started buying the actual games. Well that and You is incredibly cheap so I'm forced to pass all my played games to him.
You should be good with digital then. My internet is my main issue. And yeah it was about 9 hours for my first playthrough but the replayability is huge. I'll play again later today and expect to play an entirely different game.
Was going to Gamefly it but I feel games like this for console need to be supported, so I went to Gamestop to pick it up. They said I got the last copy out of 20 they originally they got so I was very pleased to hear that. Horror games are desperately needed because Fuck you Konami
I think I'm going to buy it twice to make sure they get he amount of money I think they deserve. Nice!
Ewww, gross. Why would I want the person responsible for evolution of an iconic character to get my money instead of the money-hungry company of today's society? Come on!
Love the B movie character stereotypes Really glad this game has delivered above my expectations hopefully the horror the genre will get some revitalization from games like this.
Think I may get this instead of Batman now since once Taken King drops I'll be back on the Destiny grind.
