The range isn't a happy place for me. Gotten to where I go there and hit 3 7-irons and then nothing but driver. I could practice on the putting green for days though.
That shit ain't no fun when you can't make even decent solid contact and have no idea what's going wrong to fix it. I figured out on hole 2 I was taking the club back way too far inside. Worked like a charm for the rest of the day.
I played there a month ago, was probably even worse then. I played like ass and still managed 81. I need to go play again to break 80 for my golf ego
Playing a couple of awesome courses this upcoming weekend. Course #1 (Bayside Golf Club) Course #2 (Wild Horse Golf Club...#75 public course in the US) This promo video they have is better than any pictures I could post. https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=55&v=XHC9R9YQSVs
anyone ever used shipmysticks? flying out this weekend not sure what my best option transporting my clubs would be
Obviously not sure what your situation is, but can you just get a travel bag? I shelled out for a nice Samsonite bag a while back and have never had an issue staying under 50 pounds, but I also normally fly Southwest
Ok so I've now played two rounds with the soccer balls and I don't mind the soccer ball concept but I don't like the ball. Too soft around the greens.
I was in a Dick's Sporting Goods over the past weekend and checked to see if they had them. Unfortunately they didn't. I still really want to though.
This is arriving today. Heading to Jackson, MS to play the country club. I like the course. It hosts a non-full field PGA event now. First time I will have played it after it got the event last year. I hope this case isn't a giant piece of shit. Got pretty good reviews online.
Had my first swing lesson about a month ago. Just got this from the pro I worked with. Hope to go back next week and see what if any improvement I've made. His comments: At the time of this lesson my best score this summer was 92. Shot 80 last weekend. Amazing what these guys can do to help you. If you are struggling, I highly recommend taking a couple lessons, and then hitting the range (not the course) to practice.
Yeah. We were just out on the range. Not in the facility they have the uses computers to track all that shit.
MODEVIL or other Phoenix based golfers.... I will be out there in November and looking to play at least 3 rounds. Can you give me some top courses to look into? Thinking Troon North and TPC Scottsdale right now, but just because they are well known.
The easiest way is to get the imgur or photobucket app on your phone. Upload your photos to it, copy the direct link from the uploaded photo, come to TMB, click on the button beside the smiley face on the toolbar above the reply box, and paste said link into the opened attachment area. Then, click submit. Viola!
I use photobucket and have never had a problem with it. I got called outdated by some fambeluh members for using it and not imgur, but it always works for me. So I stick with it. Can you not get them to upload into your bucket or can't get them from the app to TMB?
In addition to Troon North, Talking Stick and We-Ko-Pa are two to consider but there are a ton of good courses out there and everyone has different opinions.
there's one at a local course here that is 230 yards. I hit an 8 iron (around a 155-160 club for me) and I airmailed the green by 20 yards.
