Lots of deals today: Denis Suarez to Villarreal permanently Kingsley Coman to Bayern on a two-year loan Young Argentine Mattias Kranevitter to Atletico. Atletico also signed some 19-year old Colombian striker. Joo Ho Park to Dortmund Ivan Perisic to Inter
BBC WM Sport 95.6 @sportbbcwm We understand the deal to bring Joleon Lescott to #avfc will be completed on Monday. He'll be Villa's 11th signing of the summer. Reunited with Micah Richards. Oh lord the level of shenanigans at Villa will go up big time if this deal is done.
Spanish midfielder Adama Traore from Barcelona for a fee of 10m; French midfielder Jordan Veretout from Nantes for a fee of 10m; Beninese forward Rudy Gestede from Blackburn Rovers for a fee of 8.5m; Ghanaian forward Jordan Ayew from Lorient for a fee of 12m; French defender Jordan Amavi from Nice for a fee of 11m; Senegalese midfielder Idrissa Gueye from Lille for a fee of 9m; Goalkeeper Mark Bunn on a free transfer from Norwich City; Defender Micah Richards on a free transfer from Manchester City; Midfielder Scott Sinclair from Manchester City for a fee of 3.5m. Spoiler
My life and Balotelli's sort of fell apart when he left Milan, but his and my heart will forever be red and black and if we can only work hard and keep ourselves off of Tinder- we might find our way yet.
Sergi Darder to Lyon. Malaga absolutely gutted this offseason. I chuckled at them having a Juanpi to replace Juanmi though. Jose Quintero, former under 17 world cup star, to Rennes.
This seems rather desperate Julien Laurens @LaurensJulien 1m1 minute ago Reports in France that Manchester United have made a 50 million euros offer to Monaco for striker Anthony Martial!
Utd may take the panic buy cake this window. @TheOddsBible: Spurs offered €10m for Anthony Martial early this summer. Monaco offered him for €25m. Spurs declined. Now Man Utd are paying €50m. Unreal 8:47am - 31 Aug 15
I understand why Bayern would want Coman for depth but from Coman and Juve's standpoint, if you're looking for playing time because you can't get it at Juve Bayern's probably not where I would look.
The Chelsea loan system is like the mafia. Once you're in, you're in it for good. Any young player that signs for Chelsea that isn't already considered world class (i.e. everyone not named Eden Hazard (I had to use first and last names for clarity thanks to Thorgen)) is only kidding themselves.
Manchester United sure do like to gamble a lot of their money in Monaco in the summer. Old and proven didn't work out for them last time so it makes sense for them to go young and unproven this go around.
That price for martial will be the bargain of the century if he is even close to as good as he was in Fifa 14 career mode. Best striker I have had in a Fifa game
Hazard/Oscar/Pedro the starters and Willian/traore/Kenedy the backups. Moses looked good in preseason but Kenedy playing well was the last straw in my opinion. We signed Moses to an extension so if he stays healthy and has a good year I think we sell next summer.
Lord knows we need the help at that position so really hope this is a legit piece of news, although you never know with transfer stuff. Sky Sports is reporting it, so I think it's true. I think he'd come in and be a starter right away.
All Chelsea fans seem surprised by this. Do you know much about him? A few people said good things but considering the fact that we have enquired about every CB in Europe in the past week he seems like plan F
Janusaj in 'advanced talks' with Dortmund He wants first team experience but would he regularly beat out this year's mkhitaryan, kagawa, reus??
United did a good job of getting what they got for de gea considering he would have been free in 10 months
ESPN just said €35 million which seems like good business for them. Now they also had to deal with this shitty situation constantly all summer with him but a good price considering his contract situation
Daily mail reporting that martial fee is £36m that could rise to £58m on bonuses? Never seen a deal with that kind of contingent bonus money and if true, holy fuck that is a lot of money. Seems to be a lot of different reports though on how much was actually paid Edit http://www.oneworldsports.com/stories/man-utd-sign-anthony-martial-80million Duncan castles is saying the bonuses are easy to achieve and that only the deals for bale, Ronaldo, Suarez and James will eclipse it when it is all said and done. Wow
Didn't see this one. VfL Wolfsburg EN Done deal. @VfL_Wolfsburg confirm transfer of @dante_bonfim from @FCBayern for an undisclosed fee. #UCL
This deal is indicative of everything wrong with the Bundesliga. Last years winners aren't threatened at all by doing business with the team that finished second and the team that finished second is happy with getting the winners backups.
You must say that it's a bit different with Cech being a well liked club legend that is a goalkeeper no less who was beaten out by a wunderkind.
