Might be in town the 29th-31st.. some of my uncles are going and said they'd pay for my flight so it's tempting
Ballys, Linq and Flamingo are virtually the same location. Center strip, across from Bellagio/Caesars. Would be a reasonable walk to get to anywhere you want to go except for the very southern strip (MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, NYNY, etc.
I've been going to Vegas 2-3 times a year since 2008. It is pretty amazing what they have done to the Imperial Palace, which is now Linq. The casino is unrecognizable. In a good way.
also my buddy's Bachelor party has also turned into his wedding as well. Things are gonna get weird. Anyone have some moderately priced fine dining options? I've thrown out Country club at the Wynn as an option
Anyone have any opinions on Vdara? Planning a trip out there with the girlfriend and that sounds nice but I don't know much about it/didn't go in there last I was out there
not much of an atmosphere but I'd imagine it would be an ok place for a couples trip. no casino on the property although aria is a stone's throw away
That's kind of my thinking...she doesn't care about the casinos because she'll probably go shop or to the pool with the other girl that's going while me and the guy go to gamble and I don't mind hitting up Aria for that. From what I can find their basic rooms sound nicer than most other places in that price range and the location is great, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything
I've been inside their rooms/ They are just like Aria's being the same property. Its also pretty relaxing. Just watch out for the Vdara death ray at the pool.
When they first opened the sun reflected off of Vdara like a mirror and just roasted everyone at the pool. http://abcnews.go.com/Travel/las-vegas-hotel-pool-sunlight-swimming-tourists/story?id=11739234 Edit: I thought they had fixed it with coating the glass, but I guess that was always in place. Now they just have more umbrellas and warn people about it.
Here's the daily vegas us locals deal with... http://www.reviewjournal.com/news/c...tball-team-now-oversees-north-las-vegas-water
Ok, going with another couple in November. Can get the base suite at Vdara or the deluxe room at Caesars for about the same price...any strong opinions one way or the other?
Nov 22nd to the 25th. I don't think I'd mind going to Aria or Bellagio for the casino but the other guy seems to be very against that. Girlfriend likes walking places so she seems very into Vdara but that was before we looked at Caesars
I really like Vdara. also I'm pro mlife unless its Caesars. Also you have about the same length of time walk from your tower to the Casino at caesars as you do Vdara to Aria
Thanks, appreciate the info. I made that point about the walk being the same even though it's across the street but it fell on deaf ears
Yesterday seas an expensive day. I went from just trying to get people to book flights and rooms on Thursday to having two Vegas trips booked last night, one for Labor Day and one for the Sun to Wed of Thanksgiving Really pumped to be at a sports book for the opening day of college football, especially since my team opens on Thursday so I won't be stressing about that
some buddies and i got the inferno one time. it has two rooms in the limo http://partybusinvegas.com/f-650-limousines/
oh just show up at the airport and go to the limo stand. it will be like 80 bucks. you don't need to pre order one unless you want a guy holding up a sign for some reason
I've Done that just for myself, I've never seen a limo large enough for 6 large guys before just sitting there
Better option for someone on a medium budget. Aria $650 with $50 dining credit every day, 3 nights. Flamingo go room $225 3 nights.
Always have preferred my hookers and blow in the comfort of my suite, but to each his own. Do you rent it for the night or something? I can't imagine paying for that to just take me from the airport to the casino.
I know I cant make everyone happy, but can I get some ideas for touristy shit for people that have never been?
it was like a group of ten of us and 5/10 had never been to vegas before so we rented it for 3 hours and brought on booze and drove up and down the strip and stopped at a couple of casinos. it was like $100 an hour or something pretty cheap. the thing looked fucking empty with only 10 of us in there it could probably fit 30.
going to vegas for first round of march madness - wanting to fly in Wednesday night 3/16 and leave saturday 3/19. Flights are through the roof right now. I figured 6 months in advance would have a decent selection but southwest has a bunch of times that say "unavailable" or tickets are $$$. Any of you guys gone around that time of the year and when did you book flights?
