Wolves have played 3 former players in the past month. All 3 have scored. Davies for Bolton, Guedioura for Forest, Keogh for Milwall. Make that 3 points from our last 9 games now. Good enough to take us from 3rd to 18th in the course of 5 weeks. Solbakken very well may get sacked in the next couple of games if the rumors are to be believed. I'd take Mark Hughes right now if I could. I don't know if there is any fixing this club at this point. We continue to start Stearman and Berra. These fucking clowns are worthless. They look confused when defending. Plus we're down to our 3rd string keeper. Our forwards aren't scoring and we have a no recall clause on Griffiths (who I can guarantee we will sell to Hibs which will be a fucking mistake). We need to recall Cassidy and drop SEB and Doyle now.
Reports rolling in now about players calling Ståle out and questioning his tactics. Once again, no accountability at this club. We continue to play the biggest egos and the least amount of talent or cohesion.
Solbakken's car was vandalized last night. And when I say vandalized, I mean painted top to bottom. I think we'll just become the new Milwall and call it a day.
Berra seems to be the target of Stoke, Wigan, and Swansea in January. His agent is putting in a reet good shift. Mick apparently wants to take Hunt off our hands at Ipswich. LOLOLOLOLOL
Never thought I'd miss this. They're tactical masterminds compared to what we now have. Mick knew he could pick 11 guys that would just run around for 90 minutes and eventually steal a goal. Sidenote: that tie is fantastic
http://www.expressandstar.com/sport.../2013/01/05/stale-solbakken-sacked-by-wolves/ Solbakken officially out. START THE GUESSING GAME.
Mick is 16/1 last I checked. Hilarious. But he has the Ipswich post and the revolution has begun there.
Saunders takes Wolves job January 6, 2013 By Ian Edwards Dean Saunders has agreed to become Wolves' fourth manager in less than a year after quitting Doncaster Rovers to take over at Molineux. The former Welsh international is believed to have signed a one-year rolling contract to replace Stale Solbakken, who was sacked following Saturday's FA Cup defeat to Luton Town. Saunders met with Wolves owner Steve Morgan on Sunday after being given permission by Doncaster chairman John Ryan and the 48-year-old will be officially unveiled on Monday after compensation was agreed by the two clubs. Saunders will be joined in his task of reviving the Championship club's bid to make the play-offs by his Doncaster number two Brian Carey, while Mel Purchase has also been handed a position as coach. Ryan feels he was powerless to prevent Saunders taking up the challenge at Wolves after revealing he received an approach late on Saturday evening. "We have discussed compensation. It is a real sickener for us," he told the Daily Telegraph. "I am sure Dean will do a good job for them. We will now focus our attempts on finding his replacement, which will be difficult because a lot of our targets are currently in other jobs." Morgan is understood to have used his Liverpool contacts in his decision to move for Saunders, but this is a decision he needs to work after his gamble on appointing Solbakken backfired. The Norwegian endured a torrid time with fans daubing his car in paint while he also had several bust-ups with his own players. Morgan was forced to act hours after the humiliation of losing in the FA Cup third round against non-league Luton, with Wolves winning just three of Solbakken's last 16 Championship games.
73 games 26 wins 18 draws 29 losses 35.62 win % Not great but it's a shit team that O'Driscoll left him and he has them joint top of the league.
Saunders is looking to move 9 out the door this transfer window. He eventually wants to take the squad from 40 to 25. Oh thank you God. Frank Nouble is first out the door to Ipswich. Seems he was Mick's parting gift to us. The first rumor of the window is Ryan Tunnicliffe on loan from ManU. I'll take him!
Only reason we aren't in the drop zone after today is goal difference. Well done, you fucking shit dicks. We deserve every part of relegation. I hate every thing about this club right now.
It's amazing, really. We steadily got worse throughout the past 2 seasons. Hard to believe this set of players beat United 2 years ago.
Finally some good news for Wolves, Mike Tyson is now a fan. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...on-becomes-a-Wolverhampton-Wanderers-fan.html
Some shitdick on Wolves Forum is bad mouthing Zeki already. He's saying we have no proof that he'll be good. I'VE GOT 100S OF GAMES OF PROOF THAT STEPHEN WARD IS NOT GOOD
We fucking hated Pennant. He somehow came in and stole Stephen Hunt's coveted "Most Useless Player" title.
Hey just an update in case you haven't followed Leigh Griffiths since he left. He's still the ugliest and oldiest looking 24 year old around.
Adam Le Fondre and Sheyi Ojo possibly happening tomorrow. Ojo looks frighteningly like Sako and can conveniently be plugged into all the previous songs. ALF is the ideal third striker for us. Scores way more as a sub and should give us plenty of time to bring Bright Enobakhare along.
Steve Morgan has listed the club for sale. I'm scared shitless for the stability of this club right now. Villa and WBA are already for sale and are more attractive options for anyone. And Brum is also for sale. Fuck.
I don't care what simple-minded approach brings a new investor to the club. Just need it done. I'm afraid we won't match Morgan's success. I actually wish he wasn't leaving because he's been firm and invested in so many areas that add to the long-term stability and club assets.
The one bright spot here is I believe Jez Moxey's days as CEO are numbered. I believe him to be the reason that managers are not given what they need for league success. Jackett has reportedly had a bust-up with him and is furious that Stearman had to be sold. You can tell he's keeping himself from commenting with real input into that decision.
