No comments? I thought it was solid. Interesting how in his storylines he is always going to have money or has money and in hers she is always giving him money. The focus on Helen is also interesting, although she feels so innocent and yet I want to dislike her.
whoever called Helen with Noah's buddy was spot on. Helen's the most interesting character at this point but I'm sure I'll hate her in a few episodes too.
Noah's part - Grandma is such a cunt - The mediator was hilariously obnoxious - This whole situation is why I'd never want to be the stay at home dad. - McNulty Noah is such a bitch. He allowed himself to get into a marriage that emasculated him, he chose to cheat on his wife, and now he's acting like he was in the wrong ( yes im very judgmental against adultery) - The ending shot of the storm clouds coming wasn't the most subtle thing ever, but pretty cool Ellen's Part - Her face while that dude was nutting - Grandma is such a cunt - Interested to see how they beat this murder charge. I find it odd they didnt bring it up in the mediation.
Yeah, pretty sure we are supposed to take the mediation and what not as present day with the murder stuff taking place in the future.
2nd episode is available on demand. Spoiler Alison and Coles memories of their interaction were so completely different. Wonder what was in that box that Cole gave her in Alison's memory?
Spoiler That was a crazy ep. Did Noah run over Cole's brother? Why else would Cole go to the arraignment?
Spoiler I didn't really refresh myself on the first season, but I thought we had pretty much been told this was the case? I honestly can't remember.
Sounds familiar now that you mention it. My memory is shit. As soon as I finish a season, I forget almost everything. I think its because I watch too much shit.
Facepalm on me for just remembering the dude fucking Noah's wife is his best friend during this episode. Thought he looked familiar lol.
Didn't watch last night yet, but I love the little changes they make when it's Noah vs. Alison's parts. Like the dinner with the couple who owns the house they're living in, Noah's part was daytime and rose wine, Alison's part was nighttime and white wine.
I feel like they could make it even more different most of the time considering how ridiculously different men and women view the world. They should double down on the perceived slights and different meanings of things when they're using Helen or the sloot's perspective.
I love having Toby Ziegler as the high priced lawyer. Thinking about how much I liked every character on The West Wing just now made me realize that I don't really like any character on this show. I'm not sure ive ever liked a how before when I wasn't rooting for at least one of the main characters.
That's the hardest part about this show. Nobody is likable. My wife gave up on it last week because of that. It is tough to watch at times.
Fuck yes about time that old twat got served. Helen was so amazingly cold blooded in dismantling her. I actually have come to like Helen a whole lot more during s2.
She's pretty much the only sympathetic character on the show. Everyone else is a shit head in one way or another. Noah got a little rapey there. Side story - I had a little fling with a hippy chick once upon a time. She tried that reiki shit on me. I tried my best to get into and be open minded. She asked if I felt anything. "Yeah, i felt that dumb stone a crystal you rubbed on my forehead" That shit is so dumb
Wasn't that Scotty in the video? That said, I guess given the context of the episode maybe he meant it as a Lockhart baby.
Just watched. This is such a hard show to watch. I think it is really good, but I feel like total depressed dog shit while watching. Also, the fact that you get one major thing at the end of each episode feels like a bit of a trick.
My wife said the same thing. It's a great show, but depressing, and it's really hard to truly like the characters because they're all pretty terrible people.
Watching this show with your wife Mine would have divorced me by now if we watched this mess together.
Oh holy fuck, didn't see that coming at the party. Should have shown them titties on his daughter tho.
Very good episode. I can't help but wonder why no stated perspectives. Noah is just an incredible scumbag.
Ive said it many times, Helen and Cole, to a lesser degree are the only empathetic characters on this show. Also, goddam you Noah for robbing us of seeing Eden get stuffed. Fuck you, forever.
