Just downloaded the new Jack Reacher book, the next Dragon Tattoo book (The Girl in the Spider's Web), and the new Tom Wood (# 5 in the Victor the assassin series). The new Ted Bell book is out next week too. My next few weeks are set.
Not sure how I feel about this one, since they didn't use Larsson's unfinished manuscript. Please report back when you've read it.
Will do. I'm a little skeptical because I fear being disappointed. Larrson was so damn good. Hopefully it is at least close in quality. I'll start it in a few days once I finish this new Brad Taylor book.
I'm a quarter through and really like it thus far. The set up seems to be about over. Now we will see if it can approach Larsson's story development.
I plowed through it. I really enjoyed the book. Not sure if it was more because I liked the book or becaus I like the franchise. I won't spoil it but I'll say that you'll like it. The writing style is certainly different than Larsson's. There aren't the subtleties and twists that Larsson used so well. It's a little more straightforward. But the story is interesting and does the characters justice.
Mistborn: Shadows of Self was released yesterday. I probably won't get a chance to read it for a while, but it's definitely on the list.
I have a lot of Sanderson on the docket after I finish Wheel of Time (coincidentally also Sanderson). Elantris, Stormlight Archives 1 & 2, the new Mistborn... I'll have to learn to prioritize.
