Thanks, makes sense, took me a while to get used to that delay, and I assume that delay is meant for the charge up.
i found that for fighter squadron you should probably do the first training with the x-wing before going into it. does a decent job teaching you basics of flying and combat. all i really do is lock on and try to follow as best as possible. also make sure to use your missiles when they aren't cooling down, but make sure you're locked on first. go after the tie fighters and rebel ships, not falcon or slave 1. make sure to evade if you see enemy locking or missile incoming pop up on your screen. and don't crash into things. i still have to figure out how some of the hand weapons work with controls. ill have binoculars pop up or something and then just button mash till it does something. running thermal detonator and either homing shot or ion torpedo with ion shot as star card. usually using t1 blaster or whatever the heavy weapon is called at rank 11.
Binoculars, like the orbital strike? Those you will zoom in with the left trigger and see a blue highlight on the ground, where you are aiming. If you hit the right trigger, you will orbital strike at that location
Use L2 to lock on in fighter squadron. Once locked on if you use R2 you should be able to hit them and destroy them if you hold the lock. Use your missiles when locked on so they home. Others may have addressed pulse rifle - hold down right trigger until it charges then release to shoot for a one hit kill.
No it's that way. You can't kill shit flying fast. If you go as slow as possible you can take someone out with 4 hits
That thing is a fuckin beast when you charge it. Think I only needed three games to get 25 kills on a challenge and got a 2 for 1. Also, some of the challenges, I literally don't know what they are. Asking for a shock blaster, I have zero clue what the hell some of the things are and there is nothing in the description that outline or help.
Pretty sure the shock blaster is the short ranged jawa weapon? One of the first few you can unlock after the basic guns I believe.
No idea, it's frustrating. I've purchased every gun so I literally went into dropzone and played to get a kill with every weapon I thought it could be. So basically omitted the pistols. Came out of the game, still 0/25. So, I just bought out of the challenge. Worth the 500 in Star Wars currency.
If you see me on either Wu or SBTide are probably in my party. I don't Battlefront alone, just join in.
Depends on the challenge. Working to get the black Darth and that blue thing on the rebel side. Mainly drop zone for specific kill shit then supremacy and walker for open spaces and bigger items.
Cargo is my favorite. I'm finally starting to do pretty well on smaller maps (positive KDR, lots of objectives) but still get smoked a good bit on the larger maps on Walker Assault, Supremacy, etc.
Never bought that one. Seems fucking pointless. Just unlocked the DL-44. Best gun in the game is a pistol, go figure
Yeah, thing is a beast. I pretty much run with that in small maps and T-21 in the larger maps. Or inversely proportional to how much drinking I've been doing. Pistols out while imbibing.
I have the accuracy of an advanced stage cerebral palsy victim, so chalk me up for the bitch category.
I'm just really mad it's the only gun people use at this point. I mean you can pretty much 2-shot anyone by hipfiring.
Hip firing = scoped in for this game. They need to scale it back, but I'm not going to stop using the best gun in the game because some dude from the Internet thinks I'm a bitch
I don't actually think anyone using the gun is a bitch, it's a video game and a fun one at that. It's just one of the more OP things I've seen in a while.
I did innitially when I got the game, but switched after a few hours to 1st person & never looked back. Game is much more visually appealing in 3rd person
unlocked the ee-3 and have been disappointed. i think i just suck ass at aiming. i play mostly blast but have been looking into other game types that are fun so any suggestions are welcome.
