I'm off work thru new years and will be in San Diego for the next 2 weeks. What book(s) do I need to check out this Christmas? Here's what I've read this year
Saturn Run by John Sanford I'm really enjoying the Red Rising series too. By Pierce Brown The first book came out in 2014. The second book came out this year. In the final book in the trilogy comes out in January
Actually put Saturn run in my kindle earlier tonight bc of your posts in various threads. Think that's the first one I do starting tomorrow
Went through the books I read this year and I think the only stand alone book I read this year that was published this year was Uprooted which I enjoyed but I wouldn't say you have to read it over Christmas. The rest of my year has been dominated by Steven Erikson's Malazan series, but that's a huge epic series that wouldn't fall under must read over Christmas. So basically I'm no help whatsoever but I'll probably add any good recs (like Saturn Run) to my list as well.
I got uprooted on the kindle as well. I just finished fortune smiles, and now I'm starting Saturn run on my flight out to San Diego. Probably doing the Wright brothers book after that, but we shall see how I'm feeling.
Did you ever read The Passage or The Twelve, laxjoe ? Third and final book in the series comes out in May so you could catch up on that. The Passage is realllllly good. Twelve a step back but I have high hopes for the final one.
Started the passage. Listening to the audio book on my drive tonight and will be picking up the print version later. 4 chapters in and I already wish I had read this earlier
also, i literally had no idea what it was about when i started it, but am very intrigued and again, happy I'm reading it now.
