I’ve operated under the assumption since he transferred in that he’ll never play a down. If he does, great.
Thought Trujillo showed some flashes at the end of his first year when playing CB, but think he was clearly passed at CB at the start of this year and when he could not break in at Safety even with the current talent level he seemed out of options. Not surprised by this move I guess.
#Arkansas Razorbacks Recall anything about former coach Mark Smith? Sounds like a solid recruiter at least. https://www.liuathletics.com/staff-directory/mark-smith/182
Good recruiter, great great guy... average coach develops great relationships with his players and his wife is a little weird/clingy but a solid addition imo
Yeah he is someone from the Chad Morris staff that actually was competent, especially from a recruiter standpoint if I recall he was the recruiting coordinator and when they expanded on field staff they promoted him to safeties coach
Hard to blame anyone for being dogshit under Chavis though, so I don’t really hold that against him. He recruited well though and was well liked here
Sounds like he may be the new ILB coach or something. His Texas ties are a plus. guess we'll see. We're supposed to find out today.
Would like to know if we explored outside DC candidates or if this was the plan the whole time. We’ll see how it goes, I guess.
Absolutely. Give us another recruiter in the TE slot. I am still concerned about having the DL coach serve as DC, because that is one area we need to recruit 247. I think the grad assistants can help, but I would hope to see that as a group effort from our two LB coaches as well.
