Apologies if there is another thread on this. 5 episodes in, and it’s been pretty funny so far. Mac from Always Sunny is the star. About a video game company.
I'm feelin' it, but I don't think I like it as much as a lot of tv reviews I have read. But it is getting better with every episode. I do love the characters of Poppy, that big white girl assitant, and that other deadpan, female developer.
finished this last night. enjoyed it much more than I thought I would. they left it in a good spot to keep rolling as well so I look forward to season 2.
haven't watched it yet, but they did a quarantine ep (filmed while in quarantine) that is apparently great
I was so confused with the one episode that was set in the past but I think that ended up being my favorite. overall a solid show
Just binged this. Super good IMO. The bottle episode is unbelievably well done. The quarantine episode is a 9.5/10. hope S2 comes out before my free year runs out.
If you like this show, I highly, highly recommend the British show, Dead Pixels. It’s much funnier. It’s basically about a bunch of gamers who are obsessed with a game called Kingdom Scrolls. They have no idea how to deal with real life, and it is super awkward. Show switches between the game and real life.
I use torrance, but it is an E4 show in UK. You may be able to watch it free on The CW... https://www.cwseed.com/shows/dead-pixels/bears/?play=80dfbcee-c6a8-4fcb-8405-d256d16c43b5 It looks like it may be on the CW now, which is strange, because some of the humor is pretty hysterically sexual. They also say Fubo TV and Hulu, but not sure.
That bottle episode with Nick Miller >>> lots of Easter eggs showed up in the remaining episodes from the bottle ep
7 is my favorite episode mainly because of the pope and ian motion capture seen. Quarantine was probably my second favorite episode. I’ve watched through the show three or four times.
parent company in Montreal is the same Studio space is the same. They carve the names in the same spot. And then just the lesson of working together
I guess I got all that. At one point I thought Doc might be ians father that tried to sue him for the company. Was thinking there may be some character tie in like that.
ahh gotcha. Yeah I guess the only character tie in is the guy in Montreal that greenlit both projects
Haha yeah I saw that after I posted in here. I’m not sure how I forgot that but I’ll just say I’m an idiot
