It sucks. August and September are awful. You live by staying in a pool or inside and knowing in December when everyone else is freezing their ass off you’re floating in a pool with a beer watching football.
Adames with the 434 foot walk off blast tonight. He watched it halfway down the first base line and it was fucking awesome. Lots of slick fielding including a 3-6-3 double play Bauers started. The hype with some of these young Rays is only going to grow. Bauers and Adames are future all stars.
We good again Just feel bad I don't have nearly the same excitement for this team as I did during the 08-13' run Oh and Blake Snell is so filthy
This club is firing on all cylinders right now. They’re so fun to watch. Probably taking the fam to the upcoming Sunday game against Boston.
Made it interesting tonight. Adames bomb was huge. Meadows with six homers and Glasnow 3-0 with sub 1.00 era. Love you Archer but enjoy Pittsburgh!
Cash has done an amazing job considering the injuries to starting pitching and having a bunch of guys under 26.
Gotta think you need to be above .650 or so through this stretch of sub .500 teams right? Have the Sox and the Yankees back to back at home towards the end of September I think. Gotta make hay while the sun shines or something like that.
Without Glasnow for 80% of the season (#3 starter),and without Snell who hasn't been himself pretty much all season as well I could go on, but this season has been incredible, with what is obviously the lowest payroll by far in MLB ($10 million lower than next lowest Pittsburgh)
It's why hopefully Tampa can some how figure something out. I've been to 5 games so far. Wish it was easier to see them.
Tied with Cleveland for WC1 and 3 games up on Oakland for WC2. Let’s do this, boys. Really need Lowe and Snell back.
You’re right. Looked at it too quickly. Still up on Oakland though and feeling good about our chances of hanging on.
Simply incredible. That team with that payroll made the playoffs in that division. Amazing accomplishment.
Cash is really good. With all the starting pitchers who missed starts and injuries to win 96 games is unreal.
