wow, Yianni vs Khinchegashvili at Beat the Streets....would have been sweet if we could get 2016 Khinche but i'll settle for 2020 Khinche.
This is BS. Were there even any events held this year? I know Olympic pushed back, but was anything held? If not, then it should be an additional year ban
Beat the Streets is kinda a bummer outside of Colon-Gross which was pretty awesome. Gable Steveson teched Thor in just over a minute (no turns). I think I could last at least 15 seconds so that's maybe not great for Trent. Yianni-Khinchegashvili coming up now.
Wouldn't be shocked if he wants to start making $$$ after Tokyo. He'll be recruited by top MMA gyms and the WWE alike.
Gable Steveson tweeted that this might be his last year of collegiate wrestling. Guess he deleted it within minutes.
All that hype you had for him coming out of high school and he may not even win one national title? SHEESH ;)
Nickal has already announced he's going into MMA next year. He's opening up an ATT gym at PSU and all the PSU guys who make the MMA transition (like Cassar) will end up training there. I think Steveson not being a likeable person isn't a bad thing for his WWE prospects. Isn't that kinda the goal half of the time? He has relationship with Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman, they'll obviously make a pitch.
If we're talking wwe prospects I always thought Cassar should do that. Jacked meathead that's easy on the eyes
Why not both? I love Nickal going MMA as well. Obviously I have no idea of how good of a fighter he is, but I'd like to think that once he gets his opponents on the ground, it's over.
No crashes so far, Feldman and Ayala were outstanding. News of the night so far though is that Zahid is wrestling JORDAN BURROUGHS at 84kg next month?!? wtf?
Cool but Burroughs better win convincingly Gallagher is fucking mean, gonna love him. Broke Mastrogiavanni
That was about as insane of a match as you can get without being a chad red-luke pletcher or fix-suriano
He looked bad before. Expected a transition. We'll see how he does when he doesn't roll his ankle, I guess?
Tsabolov hands Sidakov his first loss since the last time Tsabolov beat him. In the quarterfinals, because Russian nationals at 74kg this year might have been the toughest bracket in any tournament like ever. 4 world champions, junior medalists and just a bunch of tough outs. Result at least starts to have doubt creep in about Sidakov holding the Olympic spot despite his dominance
Snyder/Kerkvliet leaving Ohio State has been at the center of the Willie Saylor/FloSports trial. Willie made a tweet along the lines of "What the hell is going on in Columbus?" J Jaggers then texted Pyles pissed off about it and said he'd remember it next time Flo was looking for access. This was one of many incidences of Willie being reprimanded for his twitter activity, and eventually lead to Willie quitting.
lol willie texted nick velliquette about blumpkins and now they are officially part of evidence in his trial. The exhibit in question was just brought up.
The pace of that match was INSANE. Zahid was sprinting from the whistle, unfortunately he gassed early in the 2nd. Burroughs did not. JB comes back from down 5-2 to win 8-5. Zahid just didn't have much left.
God damnit. At least the next four years you and your fancy VPN are going to missing out on D-Tier color commentary by Mark Bader.
I haven't cancelled yet because I'm on a yearly that doesn't expire until end of December. I haven't had time to watch any of this extra content they've been doing, so I'm probably going to cancel
