“I’ve never been a big fan of this Nagy guy, and quite honestly, It’s because of the way he handled the Trubisky thing,” Ryan said. “He put everything on him. He’s the guy they blame everything on. Well why don’t you look at yourself first, man? Dude, you scored three points in this game – I know it was nine, but no, it was three points. You’re an offensive guru. That’s why you came here." Rex Ryan on Nagy
"win now" Pace is going to mortgage all our draft capital and give out some horrendous contracts. Fuck Us.
I just don’t see how you bring back this offensive “genius” who couldn’t develop a 1st rd QB or succeed with his hand picked FA QB....add on the fact his offense generally sucks all around.
8-8 here we come!!!! If they try to march Foles out as the week 1 starter I’m gonna be furious. 100% chance Mitch is done, I can’t see him and Nagy working together another year.
This off-season is gonna be a cluster fuck, who knows what Pace is gonna do again. Probably try to sign Josh Norman a 5yr 100 mill contract
Not an easy schedule next year either. I know a lot of stuff changes in the off-season but realistically we're bringing back the same team just older... Lions should have swept us and Green Bay did; I don't like how next year looks like if the expectation is to win now. It's the perfect time to blow it up and be competitive when Rodgers is gone. It would be nice to get something for our aging guys while they still hold some value. I'd rather get picks then waste another year of Hicks, Mack and even a younger guy like Fuller or Jackson. We really are in football hell. Juuuuust competitive enough not to be a laughing stock but nowhere near really competitive.
Hopefully we're horrible Only way things change George is a little bitch that's too afraid to make any moves
WTF is everything else? The most important position on the field is a mess, and we're not winning enough, but everything else is fine!
Our media is so fucking soft. They got fed a large bowl of fucking shit and gave zero push back. Just went to twitter for the lulz.
I wouldn't have said no for the large majority of this past season. But now I probably say no. Wentz was flat out garbage. Maybe thats the relationship with Doug falling apart or maybe he's just trash. I don't want to the team who rolls the dice finding out
On the bright side of all this... Its likely that Nagy, Pace are entering the final year of the deals they signed (can't confirm but its generally believed to be the case) so we can hope to be total dog shit next season. Hopefully we are able to land a top pick so we can draft Sam Howell. And at that point the McCaskey's grow a fucking set and fire everyone
I agree with you, but Wiederer brought up a good point on the radio today that it’s been really difficult over zoom because the bears can just cut you off if you keep interrupting / hammering follow up questions. They clearly were allowing follow up questions because Potash was going at them a decent amount, but I’m sure there’s a fine line.
I think they asked good questions, it's hard to even follow up with the nonsense answers they were fed.
