Always incredible the insane hoops people jump through to be bigots. "This stuff matters but the preceding and succeeding parts of the same book don't."
Again, I think it depends on how you’re defining the idea of “different faiths.” Are there connective tissues between both faiths? Obviously quite a few, considering both faiths claim to worship the same God. There’s obviously some significant differences in theology, and in application of how, when, and where to worship etc. I think you’re over generalizing a pretty nuanced but interesting discussion, but I don’t know that things like this are easily fleshed out in this format. So let’s get back to arresting the big orange man.
Remember the time our big wet boy sent military personnel to break up a peaceful protest and then after did a photo op awkwardly holding a bible. Hopefully this brings everything full circle.
i don’t know. I felt for certain this was the time tmb was going to get the religious guy to change all his beliefs. Alas, maybe next time.
Said on a board in which an overwhelming number of posters have changed their minds on fundamental topics (likely including religion) over the last 10 years. Also, not every argument’s goal is to change the other person’s mind.
Not to harp on the religious discussion but this passage pretty much means that any sinning christian saying anything about anyone else’s sin is bad news. You’re going to get what they’re getting in heaven….
You’re misunderstanding the “talking point” in the bold. Your assumption that homosexuality is immoral requires it to be a choice. If it’s a choice, then there are no gay people, just people electing to live a lifestyle. That line of thinking undermines the very existence of their personhood.
Gotta say, a post about masked dipshits showing up to protest with their assault weapons immediately followed by a post about how we shouldn't judge people is tough for me to reconcile.
One less voter. The only thing useful about guys like this and the woman in that AZ video yesterday is they are cowards and morons who have no capacity to do anything other than spew stupidity or light a car on fire and shoot themselves.
3. The Department of Justice is part of the Executive 4. The Department of Justice, or other government attorneys, is also likely the attorney in any attorney-client documents seized
Fucking hell everyone - 2,000 years later we are undeniably more intelligent being yet we still can’t play a game of telephone for more than 3-5 people before mangling a message, let alone an entire book of stories. It’s fiction. With fictional characters.
Does the fbi have drones? Would be awesome to drone strike a bunch of these fuckers. Or a compound or two.
Do you even divine intervention bro? It's really hard to refute something when its followers can just fairy dust hand wave away the parts that make no sense
This board, for over a fucking decade, continues to let the same handful of folks derail any gosh darn thread they choose by STILL taking the bait every single time.
Also, as I understand it, coming across attorney-client privileged documents as part of an investigation is not a completely unheard of occurrence in the legal world and courts are readily prepared to deal with that possibility. It’s all just yelling things at his supporters to keep them angry at the other people and none of it ever makes any sense if you take a second to think about it.
I don’t know. I felt certain this as the time posters were going to stop with the “can you take this to a towns thread posts.” Alas. Maybe next time.
