Not every day that a course that hosts majors/Ryder Cups/etc says let's just re-route a third of the course. Having Andy Johnson needling around the Chicago golf scene trashing Rees Jones every chance he gets probably plants the seed in enough members to nudge it along. Having three courses at your disposal also helps when you consider shutting down in order to restore the #3 to world class status.
I’m going the final round at Kapalua next month. I’ve played the Bay course twice, it’s it worth the extra $100 to play Plantation?
Yep, it's hard to justify closing down when you have a full tee sheet every day of people paying $600 a piece to play
This is an interesting article. Deals with the water issues coming up in the west, AZ more specifically. I never realized that they're are more than 150+ courses just in the Phoenix area alone. https://www.azcentral.com/story/new...-fight-water-conservation-efforts/5032190001/
Hit everything. Also, we’re getting close to the new releases for spring so you should be able to catch some price drops on the prior models
I started keeping score that way years ago when I got serious about improving as a way to define weaknesses. I only do it now when I play as a single. I was added to a pair of 60ish year old Korean guys. Nice folks but we didn't have a lot to chat about. Filling out an elaborate scorecard helps pass the time while waiting for the fairway to clear. The run flamed out wonderfully. Holes 8-12 went bogey, bogey, par, bogey, double.
I just learned that TXG sold their demo clubs. Some decent deals here. https://www.txgstore.com/collections/clearance
I want to reply to the tweet if he's sure it's his picture that she painted or if it was another one of Andy Johnson's
Wife got me under armour golf pants for Xmas, I really like them. I am Shorts guy pretty much always other than work, but having these for work and the occasional Saturday morning cold round will be nice.
Lol Phil just hands in the pockets of both the Saudis and Ponte Vedra. As annoying as he's become I respect the hustle
I mean Phil winning the PGA Championship at his age was by far the biggest golf story/attracted the most attention to golf. Plus he does “The Match” stuff too. Doesn’t seem surprising to me?
Who knew his calves plus a Mizzen+Main commercial plus "bombs" would get so much play the last couple of years.
What's funny is Tiger got 2nd and 90% of the time he and his team are actively trying to be as silent as possible when it comes to making headlines.
I was looking for this tweet in response for far too long yesterday. I had remembered seeing it the other day..
